Arrived on standard spool. Perfect for basting. I use for Madera appliques! Also works for tear away seams for stage (moisten seam, wait, then "rip"seam) . Hint: don't lick thread before threading machine!!!

I bought this after wondering what I should do with my left over bits of wash away stabilizer. So far so good, I’ve used it a few times and it works well. I see little bits of topper together and use them for larger projects. Everything washed away like magic.

I wish I would have known about this years ago for basting. So easy to just wash the threads out.

This dissolving thread worked out perfectly for a little naughty fun.I resewed my girlfriend's bikini top and after half hour of her being in the swimming pool all the thread for the top dissolved and you know what happened next lol

This thread works very, very well for embroidery/applique and temporary seams.

Not sure who designed the packaging, but the shrink wrap that was around the spool was UNDER the sticker/label, so when I opened it, the sticker came off. And if there’s ever a spool you want CLEARLY IDENTIFIED, it’s this stuff. I was originally thinking I wished they made the sticker bright orange or red or something that would stand out. Or better yet make the thread some bright color. (I always use a bright contrast thread for basting.) anything to make it stand out so you don’t grab it on accident. But I’d settle for a sticker that just, you know, stayed ON.

The media could not be loaded.  This string is perfect for basting! I haven't had any issue with it breaking unintentionally and the weight is about like an all purpose thread. The texture isn't as smooth, but hasn't effected anything. That's one way I can tell it's the desolvable thread and not regularly white thread.

Does the company carry a water-soluble elastic or stretchable band??
