Wow. Beyond impressed.
Snake proof boots.Pros: These are essily the most comfortable pair of "muck" style boots I have ever worn. Worn them around the ranch the first week I had them. Temps were upper 30s and raining. I double socked for warmth and had a snug yet comfortable fit. Walked 2 miles in the woods and forgot I was even wearing them. The comfort level is an easy 10.Look great and color pattern is true.True to size. I wear a 12 shoe and got these in a 12. Perfect fit.Cons: With one pair of socks the ankle part rubs a little. Wear high socks.A little tough to get off when wet with 2 pairs of socks. There is no "heel kick" so I had to use the door jam.The sides definitely feel like that are snake proof. The boot part around the foot however is softer rubber and does not have my full trust (more on this below). I would love fo Lacrosse to reassure us the boot around the top of the foot is snake proof as well!*****UPDATED***** I reached out to Lacrosse via their website and was re-assured the ENTIRE boot is snake proof. Would change my rating to a 6⭐ for extremely fast and amazing customer service.

Solid snake boot
I wear a 12 boot and ordered a 12 and they fit fine.... little work to get on and off but nothing unreasonable. Very comfortable once on. Walked several miles in them so far through shin high water and mud... 100% waterproof so far. And fit tight enough they don't get sucked off your feet in deep mud. Can't speak to the snake proofing and hopefully never will but gives added peace of mind in areas with lots of snakes. Appear sturdily made and have held up so far but they are still new. Will see how the hold up in a couple years. Overall great hunting boot for snake prone regions.

Great boot
Comfortable walking around in them for long periods of time on my land. Piece of mind knowing they have the snake protection as well (though, thankfully, I haven't had the chance encounter to find out how well they work on that end). Highly recommend to anyone looking for rubber boots.

WATERPROOF AND COMFORTABLE USE THIN SILK SOCKS.
I have found these to be sized correctly. They can be hard to take off, but if you use the right kind of socks, they come off fairly easy. I use thin and long black silk tube socks. They are very comfortable and water proof.

Not as comfortable as Muck boots
Seem to be well constructed but are not as comfortable as my Muck boots. Wore them all day in the woods and had blisters on side of my ankles from the boots pinching my ankles. Maybe they just need to be broken in.

Great Snake Boots
I purchased these snake boots at the beginning of hunting season (August) after almost stepping on a cotton mouth while scouting at Botany Bay. A hunting friend told me to get the rubber style boots due to not leaving my scent and all the water we will walk through this season. That was some of the best advice I received this year. I have had deer walk the same path as I, and I can't count how many times I have walked through water without once getting my feet wet. And as a bonus, I found after wearing these boots I never was chewed on by red-bugs. I have learned red-bugs find it difficult to climb up neoprene boots? (I keep my pant legs tucked in) I only have one very small issue, towards the end of the season we had some near freezing temperatures and I have found even after double socking, my toes were frozen. (Yes, I know, why am I wearing snake boots when its that cold? Well because I love them, money well spent ! ) Anyway, next year in late December, I will have insulated boots or invest in wool socks.
