Yes, it fits all iPhone 12 models and any future models with MagSafe, note that you must have a MagSafe case if you are using one, and they don't recommend using it on the bare phone.

Will this work on a samsung galaxy a12 phone case?

Actually yes it will , you would just need to buy a MagSafe sticker for inside the case and a MagSafe safe magnet for on top of the case. Then this will work perfect and your case will now be a magsafe case and be compatible.

Does this come with the popgrip? Or is it just the magnetic base and you get the popgrip separate?

Can you swap out the pop socket that is on top of the magnet?

this is all in one. I slide it off when I need to charge or hang in car. If you want different pop socket you have to buy the whole thing, I tried to remove the pop socket itself and almost broke it :) I do really like it and magnet holds it tight. It’s never fallen off. Again, only downside so far is having to remove it every time to charge or mount in my car. Thinking about getting another one to keep home. Sorry couldn’t be more helpful. Would be nice to have different ones to choose from.
