Eden (The Providence Series Book 3)

Love the family unity and struggle together to make it through. It's saddening that Kim died after every she did to help Nina. I love this Providence series and can't wait for more of Jamie's work. Highly recommend this series of books.

What a way to finish off a fantastic series, I am devastated that there is only 3 books. The books did what they set out to do and captured the story with a punch. I am so obsessed with Jared and his intense need for Nina, books like this are what I love to read.

Read the first book and had to read the rest. Fast moving, sad,uplifting and, unfortunately, fiction. It just makes you wish it could have been for real.

Jamie McGuire has accomplished something very few authors ever come close to achieving; a series where each book is continually better than the last. Any author can create great characters which will inspire so many emotions you'll find it overwhelming. They can create characters who become your friends and who leave you truly vested in their futures. They can create such compelling backstories that you are left breathless with anticipation of where the future may lead. They can create a plotline where you are glued to your seat, stay up way past bedtime, neglect your family and children because you have just a "few more pages" and where you are on the edge of your seat with action and thrills.Very rarely, however, can an author put all of these features together into one book and create a masterpiece and bestseller. Almost NEVER can an author do this for three books to create a SERIES which incorporates it all and leaves you wanting more and crying when it's over. Jamie McGuire is a NY Times Bestselling author for this very reason; she has the astounding ability to do what most other authors can only dream of-and she does it repeatedly!From the very beginning, The Providence Trilogy drew me in. The characters were phenomenal and so complex I couldn't turn away. Character development is always very important for me, and with each book, EVERY character evolves so acutely it's amazing. The plotline is a no-brainer, it's sensational! It just keeps getting better with every book you advance to. You can try to anticipate and predict what will happen next but you may as well just forget it. You will constantly be surprised at the plot twists and turns. This was my first foray into paranormal fiction, and it definitely did not disappoint!Eden is very bittersweet for many of us. We love the Ryel family and all of their friends, but with Eden, the series truly comes to a full and satisfying conclusion. There is so much going on with the characters you are flying through pages. The final third of the book is so full of action and anticipation you can hardly sit still. Eden brought me once again face to face with this incredible love story which is always playing out behind the scenes, but also played to my feelings about the evils of hell and the strength of heaven; all of which left me completely incredulous. The final scenes pulled everything together in ways that left me with tears just pouring down my face.I cried with joy, relief and sadness. This is literally the perfect finale to the perfect trilogy. I am so sad to see their story end, but the Ryel family will stay with me forever. THAT is proof of an incredible author. This series instilled a new sense of awareness in me that I will take into my life.
