Quick & Easy!
I loved the ease of using this test kit! I did this all from home, from ordering the kit, receiving it, using it, sending it back (with the included pre-paid envelope), to receiving results right into my dashboard on the app. So simple loved it and will use again in the future.

UPDATE****Easy to understand -will update review after process complete
The media could not be loaded. Update 09/01/22- I’m updating because I completed the test. The process was simple and relatively painless (I’m a baby and it took me like 15 minutes to hype myself up enough to use the needle on my finger lol) the instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I chose to drop it off at UPS however there is a complimentary pick up option as well you just have to schedule it. The test has to be taken the same morning it’s dropped off with UPS so plan accordingly. I received my results within 5 business days and the results were somewhat easy to understand however the lab has different levels of what’s “normal” than some other more well known labs. Overall I think it’s a great cost effective test to take to get a general sense of where you’re at with your egg reserve. It does not replace a good DR if you’re struggling with infertility.I am 32 and still waiting to have kids so naturally I’m curious about my fertility. This kit is easy to understand and has good instructions. I have not yet taken the test but I will update my review once I do to let you guys know how easy/painful the process is etc! So far I’m pleased with the kit!

Very easy to use and convenient at home test...
I am 37 years old, 132 pounds, a healthy and fit woman and I did not have a baby yet but we did not try before. We are at that point with my husband to finally be ready to have a baby. Of course, I am kinda worrying and that is why I got the LetsGetChecked - At-Home Ovarian Reserve Test and I also got the LetsGetChecked - at-Home Progesterone Test at the same time to see if everything is all right with me and of course learn as much as I can. This kit has very detailed instructions, you just need to follow the steps. It's very easy to use and has everything you need, even the UPS package. It's so much easier and cheaper to do a home test rather than going to a gynecologist. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

not worth it
they lost my first test so I got to prick my fingers twice. My doctor had to read my results to me and basically, all she said was I was in the normal range.

Pretty easy to do
This test was pretty easy to complete. Like other Let'sGetChecked tests I've done, it requires you to fill a sizeable vial with blood. Using the finger prick method, this took me 20 minutes and 2 fingers (though a similar test took my husband half of that). Otherwise, it's pretty simple.I appreciated that this test could be taken anytime, and that I didn't have to wait for a certain time of my cycle. I don't love, though, that LGC makes you go to their website to get that info - ideally, it would be included in the test kit. (Side rant: I ordered a progesterone test at the same time as this one, and discovered later on that that one does need to be timed just right. Impossible to know unless you go to the website! Seems like a lot of people would miss that memo. Would it be so hard for LGC to just write that somewhere in the test instructions?)I've worked with LGC before, so was familiar with their app, but one complaint I have is that once you register a test, you're required to either take it immediately or schedule a time to take it. Once scheduled, you can't edit it. I have no idea if there's a problem if you end up not taking it at the scheduled time, but it's an odd feature of the app, that you're not able to change it later on. (I guess I'll find out if there's any consequences when I go to take the progesterone test, much later than I originally scheduled it.)On the plus side, the results of this test came back super quick. I scheduled the UPS pickup for mid-day on a Thursday (the morning of which I took the test); by late afternoon on Friday I had my results. The app doesn't tell you a whole lot - see my screenshots for what's provided. Basically just your level, and whether or not it falls in normal range, with a short explanation. The app also includes a link to a more official looking downloadable lab report, if you want to share it with your doctor or keep it on file.In trying to learn more about what my levels meant, and what a normal range indicated, I discovered that an ovarian reserve test like this (which measures anti-mullerian hormone, or AMH) doesn't really tell the whole fertility picture, making it kind of problematic. For instance - if your results are low, it COULD mean you have a diminished ovarian reserve, but it's not definite. It also doesn't tell you anything about the quality of your eggs. The national gyno board actually says this test shouldn't be ordered for women who aren't infertile to assess their fertility - the lack of big picture info can freak you out unnecessarily.I have no idea what my fertility status is (thanks to some chronic health issues and a deep reluctance re: gyno visits), so thought this test would be good to take - but now, having some background info, I'm not sure. I'm not trying to get pregnant (TTA, actually) and haven't been diagnosed as infertile, so I guess maybe this test really wasn't made for me. That's one of the issues with these a la carte tests - it's important to do your homework ahead of time!Still, overall, this test was easy to take and offered quick results in a user-friendly portal. So for that, 4 stars.

easy to test
this is a must have test kit for those over 30 and are thinking of having kids. easy to conduct the test, download the app and receive fast and detailed results that are easy to understand. this helped me a lot in planning for a family and exploring different options for having kids.

Fast results
The test was not fun to take I did not enjoy pricking my finger to get the blood but it had to be done. The app was easy to use, the information they provide helps, but dont use it as the only indicator. This was cheaper than getting it done by a doctors office. If you want to save money try this, if you have good health insurance use that for a more painless process.
