I have a condo that my mom stays in a few months out of the year. Some thug meth heads used a break in tool to go under door and pull the knob from inside. It’s a fire door so it can open from inside if you can pull handle. Well this thief didn’t anticipate the four 8x1/8” sprax fasteners I put in. The door took multiple kicks and was dented really good. But they didn’t get in. They must of kicked it 12-18 times. Thank god no one was home. The neighbors were alerted after first few kicks. A bargain for loved ones or daughters that live alone. These are so strong a dam swat team would need a barricade to bust it open.Pro tip: go to Home Depot buy deck screws atleast or over 7”. The longer the better.

I got these to be able to prevent my spouse who has dementia from leaving the bedroom while I am asleep. It was easy to install in about 10 minutes and really works. I installed it at the top of the door where he can't reach and won't look. I also used them to beef up the general security of my house.

Can't say enough about these security locks, as I no long have a false sense of security.....these locks are perfect for securing several entry doors and you can sleep soundly at night knowing they are in place and it would be absolutely the most difficult thing for someone to break in through your doors! I bought these because they were recommended by a locksmith as the beat security & child safety locks. I think they're great, however, they do can't the door slightly even when opened.

I installed this on two main doors, very easy to install and operate. MAKE SURE of the door rotation before ordering as normally this is for doors opening towards the inside
