Got this for my chickens while in their brooder to teach them to use it before moving to their coop that has a waterer like this. There are four, 6 week old chicks using it and there is plenty of water for them. Love that it stays clean (no shavings in it!) and the chicks learned to use it quickly! Came with a little wire hook to hang it and even a rubber washer to keep the nipple connection from leaking. Didn’t realize the washer was in the box till after I connected the nipple to the waterer but it doesn’t leak anyway! I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

My six chicks picked up on this drinker very fast. They had no experience with a drinker like this at the Tractor Supply I bought them from. Tapping at it with my finger got their attention quickly, and once one started drinking from it effortlessly the others followed suit. it is compact and takes up less room in the brooder. I got the one that has the metal cage attachment, and it sits in it easily. No drips or leaks so far, and it keeps the floor of the brooder clean and mess free. I would for sure recommend this drinker for chicks.

It is easy to fill the water. Great value for the money. Liked it so much I got another for my chickens.Chicks learned it fast. No mess with the water. 1 of my chicks has scissor peak and it is very easy for her to use.

These waterers worked really well for my baby chicks. They mastered using it super quickly. I like how easy they are to fill from the top. My only complaint is that there is nothing under the taps where the chicks drink to catch the extra drips that happen as the chicks peck at the tap to get a drink. Inevitably the bedding below the tap gets wet.We have 31 chicks using 3 waterers and we have to check the water levels several times a day to refill and make sure the waterer’s don’t run out of water, but this is because we have a lot of chicks. But for our purposes for the 6 weeks of raising the chicks the waterer has worked fine and keeps the water clean and has been easy for the chicks to use. It’s far superior to the upside down jar waterer we used at first.

Great, High-Quality Product: With sturdy, thick plastic this drinker can accept any nipple that fits an 11/32 hole. I like to use the side-mount, spring-loaded nipples since that's the type of nipple I use in my main coop for the adult hens. The gravity-loaded nipple that comes with the drinker is high quality, too. Either way, you just have to insert the threaded nipple into the pre-drilled hole. I also purchased the wire-cage mount for this drinker separately and am pleased with that product, too. I bought two of these less than a week apart. One has been fantastic. They’re so easy to use and keep everything so clean. EXCEPT about 4 weeks into use, the second one I purchased has begun to have a constant drip from the metal nipple itself. It creates such a puddle mess, that I’ve had to take it out of use. I’d return it or ask for a replacement, however I’m 10 days outside of the return period.

Amazing!!! I absolutely love this chicken water container my little baby chicks learned how to use it right away it keeps their water clean. It’s easy to fill easy to use I would definitely highly recommend it

Perfect for my baby chicks the only downfall is there needs to be a stand. I had to build one out of wood but it’s perfect now
