Q: What is the spacing, center to center, of the holes?

Standard hole spacing is 18" center to center.

Q: I want to possibly use the 30" size as a small bistro table or fire pit lid. How strong is it and are the edges sharp?

It's not flimsy, nor is it thick. I don't recall sharp edges. The sign is a big decal over sheet metal. I wouldn't place it on anything hot. It's a good sign.

By official I assume you mean legal for use on a public street. Check with the municipality in which you live. Our use of this sign is on a private street.

Q: Are both the red and the white reflective?

Yes. The sign is covered with white reflective sheeting then the red is silk screened on and is transparent.
