Universal tire bobbin winder
Universal replacement for a bobbin winder. This was a direct replacement for my vintage singer sewing machine. Install was easy after removing a screw from the bobbin assembly. Well worth it.

Sears Model 158.13201 Compatible
Replacements for 60+ year old Sears sewing machine. As a rubber component they dry, crack, and fail with age (kind'a like us). These are not natural rubber like the originals, so I don't know how long they'll last. Stored properly, 4 should outlast me! Time will tell.

Works perfect
I just got a model 66 singer treadle and the bobbin winder tire I was using (on the left) was so worn out I think it must have been the original one 100+ years old! The new ones I got are very snug and won’t be worn out any time soon, I think these new ones must be a stronger material.

They do fit old Singer
Five star, because they do work, but not right out of the bag. I have a 1935 Singer model 15. I tried a tire right out of the bag, and it split right off. Finally used boiling water, to heat up tire, and it slips right on. Put about two cups, distilled water in pot on stove, and brought to boiling. Removed from stove and put pot in sink, so heat from stove wouldn't stick tire to pot. Dropped tire in pot and waited five minutes, for all the rubber to heat up. Used spoon to remove from pot, and dried off tire with paper towel. Immediately rolled tire onto rim, and it went on smoothly, without breaking. Works perfect on my machine. BE CAREFUL AND DON'T BURN YOUR FINGERS, IF IT FEALS TOO HOT, JUST WAIT, EVEN WARM WILL MAKE THE TIRE ROLLON EASIER.
