I like the solar charging and basic concept but the product could have been designed to be so much better. First, there's no easy way to arm (turn on) or disarm (turn off) the system from time to time. You have to remove the receiver from the wall or, at least, cut the power. Then, when you restore the power, the link with the sensors is re-established but basic settings for volume and the chime pattern will be lost, and need to be reset. Second, and even worse for my needs is that all the chimes are brief; just a few seconds. I might miss the alert. I would have hoped that with 35 chime patterns, some might last a lot longer. My primary application is to wake me at night if anyone enters my garden for no good reason. I guess I need a more traditional security system with a bell or sounder which rings for a reasonable period of time, and will be far more likely to wake me up.

Seven months old and already failing, one of the sensors goes off constantly when there is nothing around. I think these are cheap motion sensors and not heat sensors as claimed. At 24 months neither work.As usual the “return window” is closed and there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact the seller or Amazon regarding this. Warranties are a thing of the past, killed by Jeff Bezos.

Install is easy. Volume control on receiver is not great, pretty loud but you can choose a sound that is a lower tone so it is acceptable.MOST importantly for other Canadians it works in the cold. Currently in a "Arctic Front" Temps are down in -40's, highs are -29 today but were mid -30's (not including windchill). It's been 5 days with temps this low and the alarm went off this morning when a truck drove in. Temps are in Celsius.

This product is amazing, I bought this because my car keeps getting vandalised an soon as someone come close to the car an under the car port where I park it the alarm goes off an I actually catched someone I don’t know going to the car , great price great security, works a charm an I plug the alarm next to my head so in case someone come during the night . Bonus you don’t even have to charge it , it’s solar power an if in the winter you even get a charger to charge up however I’ve never had to do that because even in winter you get sunny days .

Device is very good and user guide is clear and easy to follow.It needs an ability to connect to mobile phones with an alert when your out!
