This thing is awesome! I bought two for Christmas presents.One sibling didn't like it and gave it back, but that's because she's a normie without good taste. Said it clashed with her style. Whatever. She gave it back, so I gave it to a friend, who upon seeing it, immediately exclaimed, "YES!! I've been wanting a house hippo! You could put your keys in it, you could put tampons in it. The possibilities are ENDLESS!" Mm. Get you a friend that has good taste.The other sibling I bought one for seems to like it. He calls it his son and named it "Freddiger." Watching him cradle it in his arm and unironically pet it was a highlight of the holiday. He later put peanut-butter cups in it, so Fredigger has been put to work.It's a bit lighter than I thought it would be since the paintwork is so good that it looks metallic or stone. It's also pretty sturdy. The size is a bit small for a candy bowl unless you don't want all your house guests eating all your candy. There is a bigger size that I may end up getting some time. My thought I'd that it would work well as a fruitbowl. Or as a litmus test to see if new friends are keepers with good taste.

Was looking for something decorative for my new bookcase and saw this. Ended up buying it for my partner who always looses keys and earbuds etc.It's funky, funny and looks better in person than the Amazon images suggest.Meant to be a candy browl I think but perfect to empty our pockets or leave small items one tends to lose...I'd 100% recommend! We are very happy with this piece
