PB and Fe reducing filter
We have a well and use iSpring's big blue filtration system. We found iron build up in the toilet bowls after a month or two. My wife found this on line and Amazon stocks it. We installed it several months ago, plus the sediment filter and carbon filter. So far excellent. I hope this lasts a year. An aside, our water tastes much better then any municipal water in the past, and no chlorine smell (none found in our test)!Update. Best iron reducing effectiveness has been 6 months. The last (our third filter) one did not seem to work at all. I called and left a message at iSpring Thurs (June 1). I’ve not heard back yet. I am reordering today and hope this one works.

Very expensive.
If it works, I suppose it's worth the money. The flow is good.

GREAT PRESSURE
Ive numerous other lead reducing whole house filters and they have honestly all gotten clogged up so bad that my water pressure was reduce in half within a week or so. Not this filter, ive had it in for almost 2 months with only a slight reduction in pressure, (maybe 2-4 pounds). Almost not noticeable to the untrained eye. Highly recommend if your concerned about pressure loss

Excellent Customer Service! Thanks Nick!
I had a fitment issue with my housing and this cartridge. When I reached out to iSpring support, Nick promptly dispatched another filter, and advised me on my specific application.

These no longer work
To iSpring's credit... They did try to work with me on this, couldn't figure out why my unit wasn't working with this filter. I've bought 5 or 6 for years without issue, then suddenly the design changed slightly and now my water tastes like chemicals.I waited weeks, flushed and flushed the pipes trying to get this thing to stop leaking sediment on seveal re-orders and had no luck.iSpring (again to their credit) shipped out a newer model of their big blue housing which cost me $890 for a plumber to fit (it was just ever so wider)... Tried a brand new filter. Same issue.Stay away until they fix the design. Used to be good, is no longer.
