LG AN-MR21GC Magic Remote w/NFC (2021)

genuine LG remote. works perfectly with my OLED55C14LB TV. bought as a replacement after the wheel caved in.

Very good magic remote. Easy to set up. Works very well with 2023 TV. Just have to get used to a mouse pointer instead of up and down arrows. But it is possible to use the buttons so even if you don't like the mouse pointer ... and saving the best for last, the use of voice commands creates a whole new way to use your TV remote. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Like for like replacement when the one provided with the tv broke.

On Sunday our three year old LG 43" TV, 43UK6400 broke, the screen went black. We already had a magic remote but unfortunately it refused to work on the new TV we bought on Sunday, a 43UP75. We were getting the message "this remote is not compatible with this TV". I quick skim of Amazon showed there were many Magic remotes, some LG originals, some third party. It was pretty confusing, but I finally settled on this, the MR21GC.Next day delivery with Prime. The remote didn't come in a box and wasn't supplied with the two AA batteries it needs to operate. Setup was easy. There's no need to press a combination of keys as with previous remotes, just point the remote at the TV and press the scroll wheel. It paired immediately.As for the functions, it works perfectly and without any lag. There are buttons for Netflix, Prime (as with my old Magic Remote), but now has added buttons for Disney+ and Rakuten TV. There is also a separate Alexa button, which is handy. There's a Google Assistant button too, if you use that device.Layout is clear and functions are easy to use. My only gripe is the position of the batteries, which seem to make the remote heavy in the hand and not balanced. Minor issue though as it works as it should and is so much better than a standard remote.

This remote replaced my old one put the batteries in and worked a treat and still going. Dave

This was a replacement to one I drowned in a spillage. considering the tv is a smart connected tv I was thinking this might have needed to have been paired in some way but no, open the box and put in the batteries (not Supplied) and it just worked as if it was my original.Perfect.

It’s ok but the buttons are hard to press and the scroll function is fiddly.

Replaced the original remote which had never really worked properly from the start. Certain buttons required too much effort to press! This works perfectly. Should have replaced a long time ago.
