I've played it with friends, as well as a big intergenerational family group and it's been an absolute blast each time. What this game rests on is the power of music. Music makes people happy, singing feels good and puts people in a good mood (regardless of what their skill level is at singing), and music also makes people reminisce about old times, which also feels good. What I love about this game is it's very simple. There's no 50 pg rulebook, no complicated setup. People can jump right in even if they've never played it before. Further, it's played in teams. People who wouldn't otherwise be comfortable playing a game like this or singing etc. can be cajoled into being on a big team. Ideally you have two teams of 2-4 people each. Kids could also definitely play this game; I think the small ones would do best as part of a team with at least one adult. The magic of this game is that when you start singing a song or humming a tune, trying to remember the words, your teammates, if they know the song, will join in. If it's a beloved song, they will join in enthusiastically and loudly, and suddenly you and 4 of your aunts are belting out the chorus to That's Amore and that's FUN! Yet also fun is the solo, where you start a song that no one else at the table knows, and you get to sing it with gusto in a moment of limelight, a mini-karaoke experience without all the pressure of knowing an entire song and withouta bunch of strangers listening, just 5 of your friends. You'll know the game has you under its spell when people start singing well beyond the required six words and entire verses start being sung, or when even the opposing team joins in on a chorus. The game even sparks interesting side conversations. Oh, do you like the Talking Heads too? We loved dancing to that song in the 50s! Oh, no not another Beatles song; I hate the Beatles! You do???? Your grandma used to play this song on a 45 rpm! I remember singing this song at so-and-so's wedding....Etc etc etc... Long story short, this game made Thanksgiving fun!! (How is that even possible? But it's true!!) It's such an affordable price point too, it's a great value! Just do yourself a favor and bring this to your next family gathering or boardgame night. You'll all be bellowing Journey lyrics joyfully at each other before you know it. Review: We used this for an online party. It was fun but needs to be tweaked a little as we didn’t challenge each other enough and couldn’t quite get it right for three teams.

As someone that comes from a big family, this is an awesome game to get everybody involved. The kids love it and the adults. We played it when we were camping and it was everyone’s favorite game. We had an adults only game night and this was hilarious when everyone’s drinking too lol

This board game is a blast! Anyone that loves lyrics will enjoy this game. It’s just the right level of difficult and it’s very simple to explain. There’s plenty of cards so even if you’re playing frequently you won’t always be getting the same prompts. It’s a blast to play by the full rules but also super easy to simplify if you want. If the game goes on for too long we’ve just called it before and everyone still is totally happy cause it’s been so fun. Or you do get to the end and it’s a blast trying to complete the final round. Honestly, a very fun game for not too much money.
