works with one exception
From a landscaper, these looked like a good replacement for the industry standard couplings that are virtually impossible to connect two 1/2" poly lines together with. The only considerations is the PSI (Pounds per square inch of water pressure) inline, and getting a good clean cut before installation. As stated in the listing these couplings can handle an inline pressure of 30 PSI. We live in an area that the standard inline PSI for residential lines is between 40 and 60. Needless to say they leaked with water pressure above 50 PSI. They aren't recommended for commercial work or homes that have high water pressure. This being said, I installed the first one at my home and was quite pleased with the ease of installation, my PSI rating is about 40 PSI. No leaks! I installed the second one on a property that has a water pressure higher than 50 PSI, and the inline Poly leaked at the connection. Also I had the poly line on this installation coming into the coupling at an angle, which caused a complete separation and a huge water leak. With care and knowing what their capabilities are, I would highly recommend them to the DIYers. Will revisit this review in about 1 month once I'm sure the couplings aren't going to leak on my property. The ease of installation is worth the price.

Easy to install
These work great. Very easy to use and they do not leak. No tools required.

Works great!
This is the easiest to use coupler. Just turn the green "nuts" so they're close together, push on the 1/2" tubes and "unscrew" the green "nuts". I use pliers to make sure they're tight.

These did the trick.
I wish I had found these connectors first. I ran back and forth to HD trying to get something to repair my irrigation line but nothing they suggested worked. These connectors did the trick right away. I used silicon grease to get them on. (I don't know if I had to but I was sick of fighting with the tubing after trying the other stuff). It went right on and NO LEAKS! After watching for leaks for a while I can say I am confident they aren't going to fail anytime soon. I'll update if they do, but if there is no update assume they are still working.Get these first and save yourself some headaches. I paid $12 for 10. About as much as HD was charging for the other kind.
