Ceramic Utensil Crock Utensil Holder, Made in USA, Black

This American Mug Pottery utensil crock is not just blue. It's that rich cobalt--purple highlights in the right light--that you wish everyone would produce. Plus, the glaze is even and heavy inside and out, so if your utensils aren't completely dry the moisture won't soak into unglazed spots. Tall enough for really long spoons to not tip out, but short enough for most other utensils to still be visible and easy to grab. I even bought an extra one to give as a gift. The two crocks were packed securely in their own individual boxes, then padded together in a larger box so they couldn't move around. American made is an added bonus. $25 isn't too much to pay for something that is exactly what I want and which will last for the rest of my life.

This crock allows me to keep all my most important utensils only a reach away. The size is larger than most, yet it fit perfectly into my space available. It is so sturdy that there is never a worry about it toppling over when I reach for or replace an item. The color and finish compliment my kitchen decore beautifully and I received compliments on it from family members visiting over July 4th! Buy it. You won't find anything better!

This looks beautiful on my counter and holds everything I need for cooking, along with my meat pounder, slotted spoon, two rubber-covered spoons, three types of spatulas, pastry brush, soup spoon, three different flat flippers and a couple of other items. It is has room so I don't have to jam these items in, but is not so big that it looks ridiculous/bad/unsightly. The quality of the firing is obvious with its deep sheen and elegant look compared to others I have had. The shade of blue goes with everything. I have black granite countertops with full granite backsplash and stainless steel appliances and it doesn't compete with anything or take over the kitchen either. It is heavy enough to stay in place and well-balanced.

I purchased this for a new kitchen. I was hoping the color would be a true deeper red color but I like it and it still matches so I kept it. I have quartz counter tops so I put rubber/silicone protector dots on the bottom to keep from scratching and sliding on the counter top. I love the size of this utensil holder, it is big enough to hold all of the most used utensils, wide opening for easy access and will not tip. I will revisit this review after I have used the product on a daily basis to write about how it holds up after everyday use.

I love it. It's larger than I thought it would be but it is better. Perfect for holding cooking utensils.I prefer to call it a crock rather than a mug. It's too big for a mug. It is well made & strong. Ithought I wanted a beige crock but this black with its shinny surface is perfect match for my black granite counter.This crock will suffice for many purposes. Use your imagination. A vase, a plant holder, garden tools. Much more.I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quality, utility, crock.

I gave this crock to my 81 year old father for Valentine's Day. He loves it, especially the cobalt blue color. He was so excited about the crock that he sent me a picture of it on his counter the next morning. The pottery is well made and durable. It's made in the USA and stamped on the bottom! It came in a patriotic flag cardboard box and he said he's saving it to send cookies to my daughter in it who's in the Navy!

This crock was more than I was expecting for the price I paid for it! It is heavy and the dimensions stated are spot on. There are no blemishes at all on the container as were stated in some of the reviews. I washed before I used it and washes and dries well without any water spots. Mine is a deep cobalt blue, so maybe the descriptor could be changed to this color instead of just blue. I have 17 kitchen utensils in the container and there is room for more. The container came well packed in a box just sized for the container, which is a plus to prevent any breakage. The outside of the box was labeled that it came from American Mug Pottery. This crock could be used in a kitchen of many other uses, like your coffee pods, snack packages, ice bucket, or even for flowers on a table for a 'farmhouse' vibe. I also received an e-mail from American Mug Pottery asking if all things were OK with the container and to contact them and they would make it right if not... shows great Customer Service.I am very pleased with the container and you might wonder why not a 5 star rating. The picture on the Amazon website shows the bottom of the crock stamped USA... mine is not stamped. I like buying USA made products so the reason I leaned towards this crock and not others on Amazon. The color of the crock on the website is a lighter color than the one I received and was looking for the color on the web site and not a deep cobalt blue. Those are only minor things for me and do not distract from this beautiful ceramic utensil crock... you will not be disappointed in the quality of the craftsmanship of the product, and the Customer Service of this company.

The craftsmanship is flawless. It is a bit deeper blue than I hoped, but it is still a great piece. It's a beautiful crock. I did a lot of research to find the best value. Not only is this piece worthy of its place on my counter, it was the best deal I could find anywhere. All of that, and made in America, too! So happy I could support a company here at home.
