This product is actually perfectly for what you need but it feels a little cheaply made. I know it's aftermarket but it does work and you should have no problems with it at all. Does come with a key which is standard for all ignitions on a riding lawn mower

This worked really great on our old riding mower and was easy to install. Only takes about 15 minutes and works great.

My 24yo Craftsman Riding mower would not crank, lights sometimes would not glow, and finally started to stumble and die when running. I could always get the switch to work by jiggling it from underneath, taking a file to the contacts, spraying it with a cleaner, etc.Finally I said enough, and bought this replacement. This is quite the value and is the final and complete solution.
