My son loves trains and so I got this for him. I got this motorized train because it has the extra cars with cargo too. He has so much fun playing with it! It's pretty good on battery usage too.

The boys ages 4 and 8, love the train.

Received this order in good condition. The engine is fast even with a few trains hooked up to it. There is although, a concern about unscrewing the screw. It's not easy because the screwdriver provided will eventually strip and also when I first tried to unscrew it the first time to put the batteries in it, the screw was hard to take out. No child would be able to perform this task. I'm concerned when I replace the battery that the screw will be stripped completely.

UPDATE: I would cautiously recommend this product, provided you are aware of what you are getting into. First, the customer service of this company is PHENOMENAL. After posting my negative review, they contacted me and offered a replacement or a refund. Since I had already replaced the train once I chose the refund, which they gave immediately. They explained that the way the manufacturer makes this train, if it is kept on for four (4) hours continuously, it will drain the battery. I have a 3-year-old grandson who would leave the train on and walk away. It was never 4 hours continuously, but certainly 4 hours total over a couple of days. For me...this is not a good train to buy, but if you do, rest assured that the company stands behind their product. This train is a waste of your money. The first one had to be returned because it didn't work. Discovered that the battery had leaked inside the battery compartment (it was either a return that was not checked thoroughly or it came with a battery that leaked in it). The replacement train came and it worked...but needed a new battery about every 3 days. Clearly something wrong with the manufacturing of this train.

Really cute! My 3 year old loved them! He had a hard time with the switch though. Forward position was forward, backward position was reverse, but it had to be centered for stop. He never wasn't able to manipulate it to the center for several months, it was too tricky.

Works great, five stars. Just one caution; my long haired granddaughter got her hair wrapped around an axle, took some work to untangle it.

Great sounds like a train

Great buy. This has become one of our toddler's favorite toys. The only (minor) issue is that the power button on the engine can be difficult to operate,

The train goes up certain rails but not others. I think it depends on the varnish and brand. If it goes down the hill it stops for some reason.

The little one loved the toy. Worked as it should. Arrived on time and in good condition.
