Easier than Spring Gauge, More Durable
I've had to toss many many low pressure mountain bike spring gauges in the trash when the mechanism fails for unknown reasons. I have rubber boots on them and keep them in sealed quart bags and they never leave my vehicle or storage. Somehow just using them or transporting them around is too much abuse or they are getting clogged with sealant so I bought a couple of these for testing. I think I'm done with accu gauges. This tool is lighter than a metal spring gauge, works with both shrader and presta, and comes in a nice padded cardboard case that is excellent for storing the tool in a gear bag if you've got the room. Much better than a 'rubber boot' on a spring gauge for protection. I only use them for presta, but it has been great as it measures to tenths of a lb and I think I believe the numbers for accuracy as well. Readings are repeatable and plenty precise for low pressure mountain bike tire adjustments. The digital readout is in my opinion easier to interpret than an analog gauge for a fixed reading. I like the audible sound the tool makes when the pressure has been read so I know when to remove it and look at the screen. Because the head swivels partially and because the screen doesn't need to be visible to take a pressure reading it is not at all awkward to get a reading. I always clear the valve of any potential sealant before using this tool and so far it has not clogged up. The screen illuminates which is also very helpful in low light situations. It is possible to get very precise air pressure by releasing with the tool if you need it but I've learned how many strokes of my pump I need (small pump moves about .1 lb per stroke) to make small adjustments to air pressure close enough for my uses, so I never need to do this or take a second reading and would rather not risk running any more sealant than necessary into the tool. I've only owned them for a few months so no complaints about battery life yet. It is of course helpful that holding down the power will turn the tool off instead of allowing it to turn itself off, but the auto shut off is key.If you are tired of heavy fragile mechanical spring gauges, give this a try and keep the box.

Perfect tire gauge for bicycles, so-so for cars.
The media could not be loaded. This gauge works absolutely perfect. Read the manual and you will see you have to release air THEN remeasure. Only gauges i can think of that show you as you go down are analog/dial gauges. Plus its more accurate to get a reading twice. Works perfect on presta valves, just unscrew the valves push up firmly and you get a reading in 1sec. For schrader valves (car tire valves) its exactly the same just push against the valve and 1sec reading.Accuracy: I have a snapon dial gauge that i use for my car (schrader valve) only goes to 60psi so didnt bother buying adapters for the presta valve. My tire shows 31.5psi on the snapon gauge (twice the price as this one) my SKS air shows 32 and my other schrader digital gauge shows 32 so im going to say the .5psi accuracy is spot on. Only problem i found with this is using it on car tires its very small and has a short head to measure. Its made for bicycle use but can be used for cars as well just need more clearance. My other digital gauge is longer and made for cars so has a angled head.Overall 5 out of 5. Does what its supposed to do worth great for both presta and scrader valves without any issues. Gives you an accurate reading. The auto off works great i can easily measure both tires before it shuts off so plenty of times. Don't let other reviews keep you from buying it its perfect.I paid 20.44 3 days ago and as i write this review price changed to 19.83 go figure.UPDATE: So after reading reviews of people having problems either using it correctly or not knowing how to i decided to make a little how to video. Your gauge should work the same way if not you probably have either a defective product or need to try again. I should add that over time the rubber does break in a bit and make it a lot easier to get on and off the presta valve. The how to is for presta valves as the schrader part of the gauge is very easy to use.Update: Battery life seems to be very good. Granted i probably use this once a week my battery has still been going and is now in need of replacememnt. Still works its just dim. Its been 2 years so seems like its a very low drain device.Three year update: I see a lot of comments about bad readings and people being unable to use it. Ive owned it over 3years now, still works like the day i bought it. The rubber inside has worn a bit so its still easier to push on and pull off. Still gives an accurate reading. My front tire is at about 12psi and it read it fine. Its in fact far more accurate then my cheap floor pump that i bought. That gauge seems about 5psi off.

Still working well after 2 years
Used for the past 2 years on presta valve bike tires. Has worked well but battery finally wore out. Replaced the CR2032 and it works fine. Pressure readings from 20-50 psi on the different tires I have agree with the readings on the portable compressor I have.

Handy pressure guage for bike and car with good price.
Good pressure gauge for bicycle and car/truck tires. Dual head accepts Schrader and Presta valves. Displays PSI and BAR. Reads up to 120 PSI. It's accurate (when new). We tested against 2 other pressure gauges and the SKS Airchecker was within .5 PSI at 100 PSI bike tire and 35 PSI car tire. Features test and hold mode and plain non-hold mode. Head swivels allowing easier reading at different angles.
