Printed on battery is by adding battery acid/water? the longevity can be increased. No other info on what to add water, acid?

This fits My 2002 R6 PERFECTLY!
You gotta take the foam off the bottom of Your battery tray to shoehorn this in, literally using a paint scraper as a slide to get it in, then put the foam on top & You're done.It's basically the exact size of Your battery tray, so if You can find anything smaller it's definitely fitting, but selections are few in this category.
