Costa Del Mar Mens Reefton Sunglasses (pack of 1)

I stumbled upon Costa Del Mar brand, while browsing for Oakley's online. I then saw the reviews on Amazon, and decided to try the Reefton. Well, I am happy to say that these are keepers!I tried both Glass (580G) and Plastic (580P) and found Plastic better, mainly due to color, and weight. Glasses are great too, but I found the color tone of Plastics better.I am very picking when it comes to sun-glasses and I can confidently say that the previous reviews were spot on, and this pair does feel well built, very comfortable, provides for good coverage around eyes, and does feel high quality.Would buy again.

Great glasses as Costas are known for.. I wore these a few times and the screw was backing out of the right hinge so I screwed it back down. A few weeks later the screw backed completely out and the glasses fell off my face. Now I have to pay for shipping back to Costa and pay the repair fee (around $11) for "Repairs" or a new screw. This is really disappointing that the customer is burdened with the expense of shipping and the repair fee, especially if there is a manufacturing defect which is the cause of the screw coming out. Especially hurts when you have paid top dollar for "quality" sunglasses such as Costas. With that being said I have had a few other pairs of Costas which have never had problems. I am curious on how Costa handles this "repair". I have heard they have great customer service... We will see.

I bought the Reefton Costas after I went into a local shop and tried several Costas on there. I did ask them if they price matched Amazon, but alas the local shop does not. I like the large frame size. They wrap slightly behind my head, but do not squeeze. They are really comfortable.I chose the glass lenses. They are a bit heavier than plastic lenses, but I do not have to worry about scratching them. My previous Costas had glass lenses, one of my kids got super glue on them. I was able to use a razor blade and scrape the glue off without leaving a single scratch on the glass. Probably couldn't do that with plastic lenses. My lenses are green mirror on the outside and amber on the inside. I have another pair of older Costas they don't make anymore with blue mirror outside and grey inside. I'm really liking the green mirror/amber more than the blue mirror/grey.I can't compare them to other premium sunglasses since I have only bought Costas. Except for the occasional $10 drugstore sunglasses

Just purchased these sunglasses for my Dad, and he absolutely loves them! I’ve read a few reviews saying these are not genuine. Well, all I can say is that these babies are 100% absolutely genuine in every way. The best sunglasses I’ve ever purchased at a price that is hard to beat. I’m considering buying another pair for myself!
