Desert Valley White Millet Seed, All Natural, Non-GMO Premium Wild Bird Food for Cardinals, Finch, Song Birds, Buntings and More (10 Pounds)

My layman’s assessment is the seed I received meets what I think is a high quality product. The birds eat it w/o any hesitation. I am on my second bag.

I mix this Millet with Thistle seed for my finch mesh tube feeder.Previous reviewers had concerns regarding the freshness of the product, so I gave it a sprout test. Pictured are the results after four days of sprouting the seeds shown in a wet paper towel.Old seed, a relative term, rarely sprouts. My sample delivered in January 2024 had a 99% sprout rate.Product was very clean of any extraneous debris.I am well pleased and will be ordering again.

This product is equal to the one that I get at the co-op without having to make the trip.

The painted buntings seem to prefer millet.

I love this seed, I thought it a great value and it attracts birds I get to watch. I didn’t realize the bag didn’t have a sealing mechanism so that’s the only drawback.

The media could not be loaded.  I put the white millet in its own little feeder, and the sparrows love it. The bigger birds and squirrels don’t care for it. I love it when the adult sparrows bring their babies and feed them.

Ordered to use as bedding for my uromastyx lizard. Arrived in good time. The box was slightly damaged during shipping which caused the bird seed bag itself to bust open HOWEVER this is NO fault of the sellers. I opened the shipping box inside a tote with minimal loss of bird seed. The seed is clean and dry no issues! Happy human and happy pet lizard:)
