I can’t begin to review this book with any kind of justice. It was amazing from beginning to end. I liked Zach in the first book and was curious how his life would turn out and what would help with his adrenaline junky tendencies. Meeting Micah for the first time was intriguing and heartwarming. BUT putting them together was the best move the author could have made!!!Micah has the best outlook on life and provides such a fresh take on the world that I don’t think one can read this book and not come out of it with a little more positivity. This thought of his really stuck with me and I am going to try hard in my life to be more like Micah:It constantly amazed him that people who’d been able to see all their lives so often chose to surround themselves with that that didn’t celebrate that fact. This book was just so great from beginning to end and and I love that great book best friends don’t have to be limited to girls. I love Sam for Micah in this book. He always says it like it is and these two are just the best of his quotes: “Did you seriously turn that spray of water into rainbow glitter, bro? You are so gay.” “I should totally be the gay whisperer or some ****, Micah.”And Micah responding to some of Sam’s crazy with his own was great, too: “So, um, you’re saying if Zach tries to break up with me when we get there, I should just Photoshop him?”But it isn’t all just fun and games, there are some serious moments in this book and they made my heart swell. Zach’s commitment to those he cares about and Micah’s adjusting to a world with sight and love: Micah’s heart hadn’t been empty, but it had been blind. It hadn’t known there was an absence until Zach came in and filled it. Filled him, giving him a big whoosh of everything. Joining together in body, and mind, and something deeper, too.I really don’t know how anyone who enjoys m/m books, wouldn’t enjoy this one. Take a chance and I think that Micah and Zach will worm their ways into your heart just like they did mine!

I love it!
Looking For Love is a good read. Really good. And I like the length of the book. It gave me more time to get to know these lovely men.The author created a beautiful character in Micah. He is always optimistic, with kind words for everyone and everything. Well, except for the antagonist. But even then he isn't overly harsh, just honest. His view of the world peels away any ugliness, leaving a tender beauty behind. I just want to hang out with Micah to experience his innocence and unfailing optimism, to see the world through his eyes and to listen to his babbling when he gets overly excited. I could feel his exhilaration in even the most mundane tasks. His joy in life and his new perception of the visual aspects of that life are easily felt, and his conviction of his self-worth is beautiful to see. His immediate attraction for Zach is powerful and overwhelming.Zach is written as a strong, honorable man who has worked his entire life to not be like his parents. His backstory is just enough to get a good read on why he is the way he is. His immediate fascination with Micah is delightful and intense.Micah and Zach jump feet first into this new, passionate and heartfelt relationship, not holding back, and reveling in the new sensation of having someone so perfect for them. The banter is fun, the quirks are cute, and the passion is intense. Both characters are lovable from the start. The secondary characters are supportive to the storyline, providing context and interest to the MC's back stories and the antagonist is effective in providing a roadblock on their road to an HEA. The author made Zach and Micah more restrained in that situation that I could have been.Well done, Stella Starling! I look forward to the next story.

Wonderful
A delightful follow-up to the imaginative and scorching "Ready for Love," this one takes us into the story of Navy medic Zach Hunter. He's the seemingly reformed bisexual serial dater who by changing his life goal to white picket fencer in that book was a substantial influence on his Marine buddy Gabe in his relationship with flight attendant and best friend Jake.In this one Zach meets his match--and the instant picket-fence fantasy--while out jet skiing with Gabe and Jake and other buddies when he rushes to help the star of the book, Micah Rawlings, whose recent recovery from a 17-year bout with blindness has left him a bit clumsy. Micah has tripped on the beach while surreptitiously taking photos of Zach and looks like he's out cold. But when he opens his eyes and sees that man on the cover of the book trying to determine if he's hurt, this book takes off and doesn't stop.Whatever 6-foot-2 Zach and 5-foot-2 Micah see in each other is aptly described by our enthusiastic author Starling throughout the alternating POV chapters, and the scorching sex, that permeates this book. But what holds this together is Micah's incredible personality and his totally "valley boy" way of communicating--every other sentence ends in a question mark and that is a hoot. What also holds together this seemingly simple romance--which threatens to come apart because of a viciously drawn ex-girlfriend of Zach (who seems clueless about her motives)--are the supporting characters. Most especially that includes service dog Pippin and stray Precious, two wonderful pooches, and Micah's best friend Sam, a straight Asian American whose sense of humor has you welcoming him on every page where he suddenly appears.I read this one in a single day, maybe four hours, and cannot wait for the next one which deals with another major character in this book whose story is going to obviously rock. Like the first in the series, this one rock and rolled.
