not secure on desk surface
While these will hold your wires just fine if they stay still, any sort of torque applied in a twisting motion parallel to the desk surface will cause these clips to spin themselves right off the desk. As a result, they are completely useless if trying to manage a wire that does not run straight from the clip down to the floor. I tried to use them to secure my mouse/keyboard wires where they exited the center/back of my desk, but even the slightest sideways pressure as they run to my tower to the right of my desk causes them to come off. I tried using both the wider and narrower openings, but it doesn't really help because the black plastic is very slick against a hard desk surface.Note: Desktop in question has an IKEA Bekant top (5/8" thick particleboard with veneer surfacing)

Fits thick desks. Great for moving/sliding around. Not good for thicker cables.
It has helped me organize my desk. You can actually use both sides to hold up to 6 cables. However, I had to jam in the thicker cables (in the picture the right cable is a thick adapter cord and the middle one is a regular USB-C cable), which made the adjacent slots thinner and so not as easy to use (which is why I am docking 1 start, love everything else). Love how it is not adhesive and I can slide it along the desk or take with me to another desk depending on my work configuration of the moment. The regular cables can slide along the slots so if you are transitioning from sitting to standing desk config, it doesn't yank out.

Works OK, Think About Application
These are ok. They could squeeze together tighter, they tend to slip around on the table side the are attached to. Also, if the table frame underneath is close to the edge of the table top, these won't be able to fit deeply enough over the table's edge to get a good grip. For other applications that don't have a table top frame piece close to the tables edge they would be fine, just think about your application.

Not very good at their job
Seems like a deal, but it's not.The cable grooves in the silicon are really big. They aren't big enough to handle a power cord, but are too large to grip a charging cable so they just slide around a lot.The small opening is really tight while the large opening is significantly larger. My desk was in between so that these things keep falling off whenever a cable is used.Lastly there's nothing holding the silicon on the metal - they are just slipped on the end. I had one where the silicon was loose and would fall off the clip without touching it.Really, a piece of tape would do a better job than this product. Disappointed.

Great cable holder!
Really cool idea. I hate to have to use any adhesive for my glass and metal desk so this works perfectly.Pros:Fits about any sized cable, I have 2 usb c cables and a big usb A cable to my printer, all fit snug in the slots just fine. The double sided for different thicknesses is great since my glass desk is only about a quarter inch thick but my metal side is more than that. So I ended up using the big side and have the wires facing vertical.Easy removal so in case I have it on the glass and need to clean the glass it's almost a flick of the wrist to take it off.Cons:It is a bit hard to get the cables in with one hand, you really have to push to get the rubber to get tucked around the cable (of any size). But it's super easy to get out so not that bad at all.

useful and does not require adhesive
These cable catchers are invaluable for holding charging cables to prevent them from falling to the floor. Their rubbery bottom somehow latches on firmly without the use of any adhesive, and each one will hold 3 cables. I've order two batches of these for use anywhere we have headphones or charging cables. I hardly know how we lived before we had these.

Cell phone power cord stays on the table
The clever design means these can be used on tables, etc. of various thickness es as long as there’s enough space for the clip to slide on under the table top, ie thers lots of space under a pedestal table, but a table top on a frame base might be a little more tricky. What I like most is that the power cord isn’t falling under the table every time I unplug my phone. No more scrounging around under the table and fretting about the dust bunnies collecting there.

Good for thinner cables, color different from pictures
I sent these back at first thinking that they'd sent me the wrong ones, because they were grey instead of black, but got the replacements today, and they're just grey instead of black (the web pictures look black, and even the colors on the box look black, but other customer reviews show the gray color.)trying these out, I find that they're best for thin USB cables or power cables. Thicker USB cables will not fit, nor will HDMI or Display Connector cables.
