Tuya Convert Warning
I believe these work really well and you should not hesitate to buy at this excellent price if you're happy with using the SmartLife app, or this manufacturer's equivalent, and Alexa or Google Assistant to control the device.Just a warning for the tech-heads out there. I bought a twin-pack last week (July 2021), successfully flashed Tasmota using Tuya Convert OTA and was able to control this locally using MQTT/Node Red and Alexa. But just bought a 4-pack and first one failed Tuya Convert and is potentially bricked. The back of the plug on the first batch included 'Made in China D:A40' in very small text, the second batch had 'Made in China 05/2021'. Don't yet know whether they've changed the chip or firmware version and haven't yet tried to open it so may yet be able to flash it wired.

works with tuya convert and home assistant.
These are excellent value power monitoring plugs, the firmware they come with is a bit limiting ok google and alexa can turn them on and off and the tuya app gives some basic information but that's it.They will work in home assistant with the tuya integration as is but ...They are much more useful when flashed with tasmota or esphome (i have zero experience with esphome) but tasmota firmware works well. The main problem with tuya devices is they change the internals and firmware and newer firmware usually blocks the ability to flash but so far these have been flashable. One reviewer said some versions are marked with a date don't flash but that hasn't been my experience. out of 3 orders of four all 12 have flashed successfully. When flashed they give a lot of data, including VA W V A power usage today and yesterday. You can do automations with them in home assistant . E.g a simple one would be using the wattage dropping to within a range of values to generate an alert. E.g using one with my kettle turning it on cause 1750 watts to be used so when it turns off and the value is below 10 watts for 10 seconds that triggers an alert to say the kettle has boiled. You could check if it's daylight using the sun sensor in home assistant so it turns on the kitchen light if its dark outside. It's up to you to what you choose to do with them.

Excellent Product
This is my second review as my first was overly critical (the timer didn't work to switch the unit on, but now works after deleting and resetting this)This is a great product and works well with Alexa. It hasn't got Samsung Smartthings or IFTTT integration yet, which would have made it better; although, i'm hoping this will be forthcoming - especially with the excellent energy usage part of the app which could potentially be programmed to let users know or log the usage. As stated above electric usage is useful, so you can plug different appliances into it, and see what electricity usage you are getting. The plug is the same size (or even smaller) that a regular plug, so doesn't block other extension sockets, which is a big plus, nor is the power light distracting enough to keep me awake at night (as my other units do).All in all it's an excellent product which can only get better.

Great Product Cheap Price Hige Features
I've used a few different home plugs and these tick many boxes for me. These work great with Smart Life, show the electricity usage and give Alexa and Google integration. The 4 pack is extremely cost effective compared to other competitors.Only time will tell how good the longevity will be but so far so good.

Circular size does not improve flexibility
I thought, from the ad, I was getting a plug that was more compact and smaller with same quality and features as any square plug on market. I believe i was wrong as regards size: they cannot be fitted side by side on regular extension lead. A plug gap has to be left between like others do, so 4way extension only takes two smart plugs,,, useless. Easy to set up otherwise following the concise simple instructions included.
