Works great for my needs!
The directions seemed a bit daunting for a casual cyclist like me, but once I concentrated, it was pretty easy to set up. It didn't show my bike tire size in the chart (which is in centimeters), but the bike shop I use was able to tell me what to input for the cc option, which is more accurate for mileage and speed.Otherwise, this product is easy to use and it's easy to view all of the available options (miles per trip, avg. speed, total mileage to date, etc.). So far, it seems like a pretty sturdy device and I have no complaints

Has Almost Everything I Need from a Bike Computer (Except Helpful Instructions)
This is the 3rd bike computer I've owned and the 2nd consecutive Cateye. I confess I switched to Cateye years ago because of the brand name. This device keeps track of several functions, among them: current speed, maximum and average speeds on the ride, length of time on the ride, distance, time of day, and calories burned (an estimate, of course). The enclosed instructions aren't worthless. But they're not as helpful as they should be. Setting the clock for the first time can be maddening.SETTING THE CLOCKAfter setting the tire size, press the menu button (the larger button on the back). The time of 1:00 will appear in the bottom half of the screen and simultaneously "24h" will flash on and off in the top half. To choose 24h/military timekeeping, do nothing at this point. To choose a 12h time clock, press and release the horizontal bar on the front of the computer and the flashing "24h" will be replaced by a flashing "12A." Allow the "12A" to continue flashing. To set the time, press and hold the horizontal bar until the "1" in 1:00 begins to flash. Press and release the horizontal bar once for each hour you want to advance. When you've arrived at the current hour, press and hold the horizontal bar again and "00" will begin to flash. Press and release the horizontal bar repeatedly until you arrive at the correct time. Then press the menu button again. Using the horizontal bar, toggle through the other modes until you reach the one you want displayed during your ride. To clear any data in any mode, press and hold the horizontal bar while in that mode.MOUNTING THE COMPUTER TOO CLOSE TO THE HEADLIGHTIf you mount your computer on your handlebars and position it near your headlight, the light can interfere with the signal from the sensor and the speed will read "0.00." Conversely, if your speedometer frequently reads "0.00" during your rides, check the positioning of your computer and your headlight. In the photo, you can see that I moved my computer off the handlebars and onto the stem. I no longer see "0.00" instead of the current speed.I've given the computer 4 stars instead of 5 because of the subpar instructions.

Simple intuitive and priced right
I wanted a real basic odometer for my mountain bike that was easy to use and didn't have a bunch of other features that cluttered up the screen. This one did the trick and replaced a no-name brand I had for a few years but was unreliable and finally quit working. This cateye is consistent, easy to read, and very easy to use while riding.

My first wireless--review updated
I have had several Cat Eye's over the years but always the wired ones. With a new bike I decided on this wireless model. The control unit is the same as my old wired unit but this is connected to the wheel sensor wirelessly. So far I have 100 miles on it and it has performed flawlessly. Easy to install. Simple to use. Works great. I love it.Update: Buyer beware--see photo. My unit stopped working--clock worked but speed and odometer functions did not. It was a mystery. I replaced batteries, no luck. I was about ready to return the unit when I found (buried in the operating manual) a sentence that the unit may malfunction if the computer is used with "certain battery-powered lights." This was not even in the Troubleshooting section. But the malfunction turned out to be caused by my recent addition of a small rechargeable headlight to my handlebars. So now I am out the cost of new batteries and a new headlight. Weird. Downgrading my rating to a 3 star -- who shouldn't put a headlight on when riding for safety? By the way, i finally did find a headlight that did not cause interference.

Basic and easy to use
Big digital screen. Easy to read. ODO, speedometer, Distance, rolling time and a clock for $35. Set up was easy compared to some of my past Cat Eye devices.

Buenísimo
Quería un velocímetro inalámbrico que funcionara bien, en México sólo había comprado Mérida y no marcaban bien distancia o velocidad.
