I have been using these for years and they keep snow chains snug.I usually use two on each tire for extra security.

These are a good product and good idea as far as I can tell. Good price here on Amazon. I have 255/85-16 MT's which are 33.3 inches in diameter. These are the "light truck tire" bungee, but they don't say what size tires that limits you to. I'm sure chains vary too, in how much they come down the sidewall, but these blue spider bungees took significant effort to attach the last arm onto the chain. Maybe because they were cold? Maybe because they were new? I've only used them once now so maybe they'll get more elastic or I'll get stronger? Definitely recommend, just might want to check the specific tire size range.

These are handy and easy to install chain tensioners. You need some sort of tension system and these are better than the ones you generally get with a set of chains (usually you just get a rubber ring with hooks on it). If you old tensioners are toast, or you chains didn't come with tensioners, these are a fantastic choice. Easy to stash and easy to install. Just be sure to get the right size as the length of the individual arms is critical.

These things are sweet! Hi felt recommended! Blue ones fit the smaller size front wheels on the tractor and the green ones fit your utv tires really nice!

I've used this size & brand before they're heavy duty, last all winter. These are the ones I like best, they'll work well on most autos & small trucks to tighten snow chains. Fast S&H

Compared to other style of chain adjusters. This is the easiest to use.With the ones I have for my GMC and my tractor. You have to tinker with the positions of the hooks until the tension is just right.To be honest. I have not yet used the chains and the bungee in a storm. But at least with this system I wont be spending time getting wet adjusting the chains.

I put these on my snow plow truck, leave them on the entire winter. I have them on 16 inch rims with snow tires. They keep the chains snug and no need for any winter adjustment, however, since I leave them on for 5 months at a time, I have to replace the set each year as the rubber begins to crack and will break.
