Durable and very protective, yet practical.
I love these!! I am training for a 370 mile charity run in 3 weeks and last month I tripped and lost a battle with the concrete. I had 13 stitches in my elbow and arm. After the stitches came out, I ordered this to wear for a few more weeks to prevent it from getting bumped and ripped open again. They are very cushioned and provide a very hard shell to protect the elbow. I have had several co workers accidentally bump my elbow while wearing this and it did not hurt. I have been wearing it when I run and it protects great while still letting me bend my elbow constantly during a run. It came in a set of 2 and so I put the other away as an extra. The only (slightly) negative thing I would say is the two adjustable straps that hold it can rub and irritate a little if you have them on bare skin for a long period of time. Wearing it over a long sleeve shirt or elbow wrap though is awesome. It has allowed me to be able to continue to work and train. I definitely recommend if you need more protection.

Great protection. Worth the money. -LE Approved.
I used these for a LE week-long rifle course that involved a lot of running and transitioning to laying down or crouching. These were great. Comfortable but sturdy. They protected me from sharp rocks and numerous goat-head stickers that were in the field we were shooting it. Definitely helped keep me on target! I got the knee pads too. They slid down my legs a bit but were a huge help as well.

Decent fit and comfort; a must for cactus protection
I purchased these elbow pads for an antelope hunt, but didn't use them because the situation I ended up in didn't require them. I did, however, use them some before the trip and have a few thoughts:- Good elbow pads are hard to find because many fall short in one or more of the following areas: fit, comfort, stability, longevity, protection. It's hard to do all of them well.- These are light and well padded. I have no doubt they will protect my elbows.- My concern would be their ability to stay in position for an extended period of time (because they are compact) and remain comfortable. They are stiff and do not truly wrap around the elbow. No issues so far, though.Theses are still a good option.. I would recommend them.
