Superb, noiseless and high suction fans.
Amazing pieces of dual fans, quiet and vibrationless. My marantz nr1609 used to get heated up in the enclosed wooden case. Plonked in this set, and the avr now runs ever so cool. I bought this at ₹4.4k absolutely value for money. Pics before and after fitting have been uploaded.

As Cool as The Fonz at a Sock Hop!
Here's my Story: I built a large permanent wall unit in my living room. Room for my Stereo and speakers was a big reason. Not being an audiophile I overlooked the heat problem with my old amp. This meant leaving the doors open when it was on ( def wrecked the look) and that was fine unless someone inadvertently shut the doors not checking to see if it was on. It would get really hot! Also, Grandchildren began arriving and those buttons and knobs were like kid magnets!Research led me to the dual 80's. Here are my impressions discoveries:1. Arrived really fast - To a Canadian address in about 5 days.2. Quality appearance and construction.3. Fortunately super low profile as I could only mount at the top. My Dual turntable sits on that part of the counter and the grill ends up sitting at least an inch under the turntable cabinet. The turntable clears it so no vibrations transfer.4. Installation was easy. A handheld jig saw and a drill really was all I needed.5. My stereo plays away for ours on end, doors closed and stays as cool as the Fonz at a sock hop! I have the unit plugged in to the back of my amp and the fan set at the lowest speed.6. Because it screws down tight there are no vibrations issues. I only wish small electronics all came with this kind of build and design quality. As for the noise complaints I read beforehand:1. Noise. Yes if I am sitting right near the wall unit with no music playing or super low volume , when I listen for it I can tell there is a fan running. With music at even a regular atmosphere type volume you would have to have the ears of a bat to know there is a fan on.2. With the unit pugged in directly with the adapter the power really is boosted, I imagine if I was running it at medium to high speeds the sound would be pouder but it would be totally uneccessary to run it that fast.I am so very happy with my purchase I keep showing it to friends! Two thumbs up!

A good, reliable fan that looks great - recommended!
I installed this fan in the back of a custom made arcade cabinet which needed to be kept cool. The fan is incredibly well made and very reliable, which I guess you'd expect given the price tag. Whilst there are cheaper alternatives that would presumably be just as effective, the AC Infinity fan simply cannot be beaten on looks which give you cabinet that professional appearance - to me that was an important part of my project so I was happy to pay a premium. The fan comes with a plastic template which helps with the positioning of drill holes, which was very useful indeed. The fan runs on a 5v power supply via the attached USB cable and is happy with either a 1amp or 2amp supply. The package also contains a UK plug with a USB connection if you don't plan to power it from an existing 5v powered device.

If only it was truly "ultra quiet"
This product is so close to being perfect. The quality is excellent, installation is straightforward and it does what it is advertised to do (i.e. keep your cabinet cooler with better airflow). However, its biggest flaw is that the fans have a slight "drone", even on the lowest setting. I have a partially open cabinet with the fans installed at the back to promote exhaust and they are definitely audible across the room when there is little other ambient room noise. Rather than having a "flat" sound (think rushing air) they instead have an audible modulation between frequencies (think the sound of something spinning) and even a slight "warble" if that makes sense (a consistent faint tapping sound). If you are installing this in a closed cabinet or it will only be on when you are listening to a louder sound (such as music, etc) then this might not be a problem for you. However if you're using this for a console or HTPC setup, and you are expecting something nearly silent, you are going to notice it. It is definitely quieter than say the PS4 Slim fan when it cranks up (which this fan will prevent from happening) but it is definitely louder than all 3 of the fans in my HTPC combined when they are at low speed. I don't want to make it sound like this thing is LOUD, but the characteristics of the sound make it noticeable. After going through the trouble of modifying my cabinet to install it, and due to the fact that it does work very well at reducing heat, I plan to keep the unit. Perhaps I can find some alternative fans to reduce the noise in the future.
