Only issue is delicate screen
I bought one for my son and one for my niece for Christmas and purchased the SpeedTalk $5 card as well. I easily activated the card online in a matter of minutes and but the sim card into the appropriate slot in the back of the watch. Waited a couple of hours and it worked great for calls. A few months ago there was miscommunication between the afterschool care and myself and he was left at school. Thank goodness he just went to the office and called but with this watch I had the ease of mind knowing he could call me at any time. My niece loved hers as well and would call me from it all the time. She said it was the best present ever. Her screen cracked after a couple of weeks and my son's after a month. I purchased another brand that had the gps tracker but I couldn't get it to work. After a very stressful week trying to get it to work, I sent it back and bought this one again. I'd rather him have the option to call than neither track nor call with the other watch. The communication is clear. My son also loves the games on this watch. I am happy with this purchase. The reason for deducting a star is just the fact the screen cracked so easily. Other than that, I am happy with this purchase.

Kid friendly
It’s what I wanted. My child is happy she can play on her watch like her siblings. Adding pictures and music was fun for her as well.

Good for the money
My daughter is 5 and loves this watch. It’s great for her age. We did not put a SIM card in so she only uses it to watch videos and songs and record herself. The games are kind of lame, but she really likes it.

Talk & text requires mobile plan
It’s sort of misleading in saying that you can talk and text. You have to purchase a SIM card and a plan. Sorry not for a baby. I bought it because he would pull at my Apple Watch. But was attracted to it because it said you can talk and text and wanted him to be able to be able to talk to his grandma.

Kid Gift
Well he had to have it and like most things kids get it was awesome then went in a desk drawer but i seen it and it was a pretty cool device. He used his own money so i let him do what he wanted with it but still a cool watch
