Nature's Way Vitamin B-2, 100 Caps 100 MG

I've been taking a migraine rx for years, first Imitrex (sp?) but that made me super nauseous! So now I take Zomig which only makes me a tiny bit nauseous for a few minutes. However it's spendy since I was getting a migraine every other to every few days. And without an Rx they stick around for about 3 days and are pretty much debilitating. I even tried botox for them but the migraines figured that out and moved down into my eye socket away from the botox. Sigh. And no OTC meds will help if one has already started. My doctor heard that B2 could help with migraines and suggested I take it daily. OMG! After about a week and a half they were gone! Seriously it was like a miracle! I'd had them since I was a child and nothing ever worked to prevent them. Not that this is perfect, they do break through about once every few months, especially if I forget to take the B2 one day or when I watch a 3D movie. I just keep the Zomig on hand for that. I am so grateful for this miracle I had to share and hope it helps someone else with a similar situation! Tried some other brands but this one seems to deliver the best results. Others im guessing the potency isnt as good as I had too many breakthroughs. Now if I could only find a similar cure for acne...

I purchased these after reading several articles (then positive reviews) about the benefits of Vitamin B2 for migraine prevention. As a long-time migraine sufferer who is wary of daily prescription medication (you mean I can possibly have less migraines, but I might gain weight, my hair might fall out, and my liver might fail?!), I had mostly gotten along with as-needed prescriptions and more days spent on the couch with an ice pack than I care to count. After years of doctor's office visits, arguing with a neurologist (no, I won't take a daily med that you're telling me you may need to prescribe an accompanying prescription for the side effects of the first med), and a number of ER trips, I turned to google and stumbled across the benefits of B2. Since I began taking these (in 400mg doses, 4 caplets per day since December 1st), I've only had one headache (NOT a migraine!). This is a significant improvement over mini-migraines daily and 1 - 3 full-blown migraines weekly. As an added benefit, these capsules are free of artificial ingredients and preservatives, and they are reasonably priced.

Thousands of dollars, many medical tests, and many prescriptions couldn't help my husband with an ongoing vestibular migraine. At one point, his doctors had him on two different migraine medicines that reacted terribly with each other, causing irritability, confusion, and headaches!! We got sick of waiting (and paying) for his doctors to help, so we tried a mega-dose of B2 on the advice of my son's neurologist. Two capsules in the morning, and another two in the evening, have helped my husband get relief when nothing else could. He can drive, play sports, and work again! Two of my sons also have frequent headaches (one has migraines; the other does not), and they both take one capsule in the morning. Works great for them, too! Be forewarned, however, that it will turn your urine a bright orange color.
