Stunning Scenery in Cross Stitch Review: with a good deal of attention to to important religious cities and ... - This book quite possibly has some of the most unique patterns in it that I've ever seen. The designs are scenes from around the world, with a good deal of attention to to important religious cities and landmarks. Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem each has its own pattern. Things I love: 1. The table of contents displays a picture of each design, along with the name and page number vs. just the name and page number. 2.Each design is introduced with a short but interesting write-up about the site. Things I don't love so much: 1) The patterns are in color, whereas I prefer black and white (apparently, that places me firmly in the minority). 2) The book has fairly small dimensions, which causes the patterns to be broken up across several pages. The designs themselves, however, are awesome! The Mecca pattern is done in a sort of sepia tone look, which is absolutely amazing, and the Jerusalem design is also quite impressive. I can't decide which one to stitch first! Review: A must for cross stitchers - Beautiful, beautiful book! A+ condition upon arrival.

Great Cross stitch book. All basics covered.
Wonderful book of cross stitch designs, great color pictures of projects, great printed design with color graphic pictures making cross stitch projects much less challenging and easy to follow. Chosen colors are wonderful and match very close to original pictures. Easy to follow.

Has some great patterns
I bought the book for the patterns on the cover and they are absolutely gorgeous but there's a few patterns (a couple maps, items from Turkey) that I thought didn't belong in the book. There's a few religious site patterns that are gorgeous but I probably won't stitch those patterns either
