No 12v supply is required
This item appears to separate the sigal for a vhf radio and a am/fm receiver allowing full usage of both systems without having to connect it to a 12v supply!

Good product and works as advertised, little on the pricey side
Works as advertised. Good product and keeps one less antenna off your boat. And come on guys, complaining that you have to attach the connector. They do this so you can adjust the length of wire that you need and really it's not that had to attach. You can do it with the components they supply or you can attach it using a soldering iron if you have one, either way it works just fine.My one and only complaint is the cost of the splitter. The cost is a little more than if you just added the Shakespeare AM/FM 4350, SHA4350 antenna. I think Shakespeare is taking advantage of the consumer just a tad bit.

Quick and easy purchase, Easy Installation
The product and installation instructions were great. The only issue was that the heat-shrink on the FM antenna connector was hampering a proper fit with the radio antenna connector.

Product works great. Makes it so much better than having multiple antennas on the boat. You will need a soldering iron for installation.
