Just the right amount of space.
With the measurements I had, the carrying case has just the right amount of room for my light kit as well as the power cables and additional extension cords.

defective bag
The media could not be loaded. i got a defective bag with the handles sewn in opposite directions. that means i can't carry it so i'm returning it asap. clearly no quality control whatsoever.
