Excellent for drilling in ceramics. Too tight fit for a regular hex chuck.
These are great for drilling in ceramic tiles and pots, but the fit in a regular 1/4" hex chuck is not great. Can be hard to install and remove. Grab with a cloth and apply force.

Perfect Set For Drilling Drainage Holes Into Plant Pots
I was looking for drill bits to use to drill holes into the bottom of my ceramic and terra cotta plant pots - this has worked perfectly. Dont forget to use water to wet the drill area as you drill to keep the ceramic dust from flying all around. They will probably go dull faster than I would like but for the price, I will probably just buy a backup set. I wish they made a set just like this with a few larger sizes to make bigger holes in larger pots.

These bits are a good purchase for the price
These bits are a good purchase for the price. I did overheat the two smallest bits causing them to break off during drilling so be aware of the temperature build up and allow them to cool.

Can use with electric screwdriver
Great for drilling drainage holes in bottoms of ceramic planters. Used with my rechargeable electric screwdriver with hex bit to drill multiple drainage holes. Still working well. Run the area you’re drilling under water to prevent cracking and over-heating. Works great! So pleased to be able to use all of these previously not very functional planters.

Cuts great through the tile then the tips break off like they were made of plastic. Then the tip is stuck in the hole and it can't be pulled out so you have to drill another hole in the tile to get a screw in the wall. Customer was not happy!

TITANIUM-COATED GLASS DRILLS
Great drills. They do an excellent job at drilling even thick pieces of glass; greater that 1/8 inch. However, who ever uses them will do better if drilling is done by a drill press inasmuch as any deviation from vertical, or any wobbling, will certainly result in a crack.
