Black Basic Genuine Leather Checkbook Cover For Men & Women

I'm really glad I picked this check book cover. I'm not an expert, but as the description of it notes, it's definitely made from genuine leather. It's soft and smooth to the touch and has just the slightest scent of leather to it. I happen to like that. It is so much nicer than the free vinyl one's I've been using for years that always crack on me. My duplicate checks and check register fit perfectly in the cover. I don't have to struggle to get either of them all the way inside. The plastic divider covers everywhere I write so only the duplicate under the check I'm filling out get any impressions. I definitely recommend this item.

The color is described as turquoise but it leans more toward a subtle greenish blue. Turquoise is usually a bit brighter. The leather is pebbled and nice quality. Not exactly the color I had hoped for, but I will keep this because of the modest price tag and real leather checkbook covers are expensive and hard to find in fun colors.

For those dwindling few of us still writing the occasional check, this cover is a durable and attractive option. It's real leather, so it is much more attractive (in my opinion) than the vinyl ones and doesn't crack at the fold like they do. It has the usual sections to hold the checks and check register, as well as a plastic flap to help with the duplicate carbonless style of checks, if you use those. I purchased this along with a box of six check registers which will outlast me, I'm sure.

It's faux leather but it's actually really nice checkbook holder

I was pleasantly surprised when this was received. The leather is very nice and buttery soft and the checkbook fits perfectly inside. It is well-made and at the great Amazon price, it is a no-brainer. I got the burgundy and the color is true to the picture. I’m just very pleased with this. Recommended

Far too small to accommodate a standard size British Bank chequebook. Absolute waste of money.

I don't know why the UK Amazon site would sell this - incompatible with UK cheques.
