Tripp Lite DVI Dual Link Cable, Digital TMDS. sold by Tripp Lite
Tripp Lite DVI Dual Link Cable, Digital TMDS. Sold by Tripp LiteI bought these for a graphics card that came with my computer. It worked very well for my needs. There are 3 different types of DVI cables/connectors. Make sure you find the proper cable or your results may not be what you wanted.DVI Connector Education 101:DVI comes in three common pin formats: DVI-D, DVI-A and DVI-I.DVI-I is a hybrid digital/analog display connector that has two pins above and below the horizontal grounding pin. Those four pins carry analog signals (Red, Green, Blue, and Horizontal Sync) that can be send to a VGA (HD15) adapter. DVI-D does NOT have these pins and only sends a digital signal. It's possible your DVI out is -A or -I instead of -D. If so they don't always work. It's important to look at the female connector - if it has four holes surrounding the slot in the connector then it is either DVI-A or DVI-I, not DVI-D.D=digital, A=analog, I= hybrid meaning it can be either digital/analog, but not at the same time. DVI-I is more expensive but takes care of the guess workIn otherwords, match the DVI cord plug to the socket of the equipment that you will be using it for. Look closely at the horizontal (or verticle) bar as the socket may or may not have the socket holes for the 4 pins (2 above, and 2 below the horizontal bar).I did not receive anything for my unbiased review.161212

Cable does NOT work between two, DVI-D ports
I have a DVI-D connector on my less than one year old HP computer with a Geoforce 625 graphics card.........and a DVI-D connector on my Lenovo 27" monitor..........but, this cable only shows the desktop background screen with NO icons and no way to access the start menu or anything else.*****Finally figured out the solution to the problem of no text but background appearing when hooking up this cable. If you have any type of adapter that can also run a second monitor, it automatically makes the second display the primary display (at least it does on my computer). I have a USB adapter (Sewell brand) that transfers the signal to my 70" tv when I want to watch something that I'm viewing on the computer and also watch it on the television. If you have any type of secondary monitor (or tv connection) to your computer and all you are seeing on the computer when you plug in the cable, push the windows key and the P key at the same time and you can switch back & forth or you can also go into your control panel and change the settings to mirror the displays. I had the mirror option set before installing the cable but when you plug in the new cable it automatically went to the secondary display and only showed my desktop background with no text on the computer. Problem solved and the cable does produce a better display than the old vesa adapter cable.

Great Cable - Purchase for you LG Split Screen Monitor if your video card has the connection before buying a new video card.
I just purchased the new LG Split Screen Monitor and my Video Card did not handle the 2560 x 1080 Resolution via HDMI. I had a DVI Single Link Cord but it didn't work. So glad I continued to read what I could use. Saved myself from $80 up to $300 on a new AMD 6950 Video Card. In Fact I called AMD and one salesman gave me the card I could use and then decided to call again and that is when the salesman told me to try the DVI Dual Link TDMS Cable. God Bless Him. Saved me a bundle. I just attached it and it does the job. I now have the resolution of 2560 x 1080 which is what I needed. Cable is a heavy cable not the usual flimsy kind. Connectors went right in place no problem. Love it. Would advise anyone that has purchased the new LG Split Screen Monitor which can produce 2560 x 1080 resolution to purchase this cable if their card cannot handle via HDMI connection first before buying a new video card..

Great quality DVI cable by Tripp Lite, Ship & Sold by Amazon
The media could not be loaded. I first bought this DVI cable back in 2013 for my monitor and now I'm back buying a 2nd one for my other IPS monitor. Back in 2013 this cable was White in color and now it's Black, which is actually much better to match with the rest of my black cables and it also cost a lot more back then than now.I don't have any issues with this brand of DVI cables with either flickering or color. Now I have 2 ViewSonic monitors connecting to both of these DVI cables from the same brand Tripp Lite and Ship & Sold by Amazon. So make sure you buy it from the right seller as there are many sellers selling this cable and not all of them are honest and might sell you a fake or a low quality DVI cable.

Works perfectly for me
Amazon does not list the technical specs for cables so it is hard sometimes to know what you are getting. While there are thicker cables with triple-shielding available elsewhere I chose Amazon, in part, because I didn't want to wait around for shipping when Amazon does next-day air for such a bargain. Also, I didn't want excessively thick cables because my particular install required circumnavigating a few tight spots. With all that said, this cable works flawlessly for me. I don't have an ounce of degradation and I running this 25' cable into a KVM switch and then the signal is going through another 6 feet of DVI cable and I am running at a resolution of 1920 x 1200. According to my research that is too far to send such a high-res signal over copper cable. Lucky for me it works anyway.Your results may vary depending on what equipment you are running. I am running only high-end GeForce and Quadro cards and although I thought I'd have to buy some fancy DVI signal extender everything is, in fact, working flawlessly so I'd have to conclude this cable is pretty good.

I bought these to use with my Qnix knowing these ...
I bought these to use with my Qnix knowing these monitors are quite picky. Worked flawlessly on both monitors. I had no problem overlocking to 120-130 (I still don't understand how I got to 130 without artifact but yeah). I've been running stable on 110hz for over 2 years. And I'll be ordering another one soon (longer) to move my tower further away. Haven't even considered ordering from somewhere else.

Works like a charm
But now I don't need it. LOL!!!The old monitor flickers so much compared to the new Acer, I can't use double monitor until I get another flicker free one.

Merci!
