I loved this bird feeder! The birds… not so much! I hung the feeder in a popular area for over a week but, birds of all sizes attempted to land and feed and immediately flew off!? Was there too much swing… the clear cylinder.. the circular landing frame… I was stumped! I tried placing it in a different location for several days with the same result… no takers!The feeder itself is sturdy, easy to use and refill in place and I loved the design. Apparently, a mesh cylinder is easier for birds to sink their claws into and hang on….sooo mesh and screen cylinders it is! 5 stars as this is a quality product but, it just didn’t work for us!

I take a scoop of seed out to my feeder every morning. With my old feeder, I just lifted the top and poured the seed in. Now I have to balance the scoop on the ground before popping the lid open. It’s a bit of a pain since I am old and bending down is hard for me. It’s harder for my partner as he loses his balance.It’s only been up a day but so far the squirrels love it. The birds not so much.I’m learning to pop it open with my thumb. Redwings are brave and have no problems. Cardinals are still skittish.I seem to be saving on seed. While the squirrels still come, they don’t like the small openings and it doesn’t pour out. Adding a star.

This bird feeder is really cute and it’s easy to fill. My birds are really enjoying it. My only worry, is when the birds land on it and start eating, the feeder starts spinning around. It’s like the birds are now riding a merry-go-round! It’s kind of funny, but I just hope it doesn’t make them dizzy. lol

I like it. I’m not sure about the birds. I’ve had it up about a month now, but only a couple of birds have sat on it and I’m not sure they have ever eaten out of it. It is very different from my other feeder. It has more top coverage that I like. It keeps the seed dry in the rain. The openings sit back in “scoop like” openings. I’m hoping they just have to get use to it. I can’t really speak to it being squirrel proof. I buy “hot” seed to keep the squirrels out of the feeders. But I can see where it would be a possible deterrent for a squirrel because the bottom spins easily. But, I’m also wondering if that is a reason the birds haven’t been on it more. I don’t know. But, it’s pretty, weather friendly, and easy to clean. Hoping the birds start thinking it’s as great as I do.

I like the easiness of this feeder but it seems the "taller" birds have difficulty perching to eat. That's ok, I have other feeders. I'd recommend if you have many small birds.

It is very cute and VERY easy to fill. Love the bluish-mauvy colour. It is a good size and lots of smaller finches and sparrows love the sitting area. It will be difficult to clean, probably - to get into nooks and crannies, because I clean with hosing it down..then I will soak it in soapy water and scrub in and outside with a brush ...then rinse soap and soak in 1 part bleach to 9 parts of water and thoroughly rinse that and let it dry. The little wire that it hangs by looks very easy to break so I foresee having to replace that sooner than some other kinds, probably. All-in-all, I do like this a lot.

Decided to use this feeder for the peanut pieces and it is working out really nice such that the birds have been able to eat enough to allow more food to come out of the openings. That's great.

I’m giving a 4 star because it’s nice but I bought it to hero squirrels off, that doesn’t happen they still get up there and eat!

Looks good, easy to fill with seed, and matches my deck colour. I’am hoping the birds discover it soon.
