A great product. Effective and doesn't smell like your typical ointment.

Tiger Balm has my family's favourite balm for the past twenty years or so. We have had been buying the Red, White and Soft balms made in Singapore while travelling abroad or getting them through friends. Lately, since our stocks were getting exhausted while international travel had reduced drastically, it became necessary to look for alternatives. As other reviewers have pointed out, the Indian versions are not quite as good as the originals. Such opinions are substantiated by the chemical compositions given on the respective bottles. Red Tiger Balm The Red Balm is recommended for muscular aches, pains and sprains. The Indian version is described as "Ayurvedic Proprietary Medicine" and it differs from the original, as it contains lesser camphor and 5% cinnamon oil instead of 5% cassia oil. When applied, the Indian version does not feel as warm as the original one. On the plus side, it does not stain one's clothes as much as the original red balm does. While Tiger Balm The White Balm is recommeded for headaches, stuffy nose, flatulence and itchiness from insect bites. The Indian version is described as "Ayurvedic Proprietary Medicine" and it differs from the original, as it contains lesser camphor. The smell of the Indian version is weaker than that of the original and it seems somewhat less effective. On the whole, the Indian versions are not as good as the originals, simply because the compositions differ. On the other hand, the Indian versions are far cheaper. This pack of 4 costs about the same as one would pay for a single bottle of the same size of either Red Balm or White Balm in Hong Kong or Shanghai.

very effective balm. no side effects. Using since i was a kid. my mother never allow us to take pain killer.

Very effective( apply very little in quanty) original tiger balm.

Real works as it should be

Since it’s sold as a set, it’s great because you can share it with friends. The bottle design is cute, too. I feel like it’s actually working.

White balm is ok, but the brown one smell is like duplicate product. This is not actual tiger balm.
