Worked Awesome to Replace the A/C Heat Protection on my 1990 Bronco
I replaced the engine in my 1990 Ford Bronco in Late 2024. During the install, I needed to replace the worn our heat insulation that covers and protects the AC condenser from the heat of the engine. The old material was similar to that of this product. I purchased this material and was able to cut and stick this product perfectly where it was needed in the engine compartment. It was easy to work with and the adhesive is super strong. It should last for many years! Great product!

Material is fine but cams shipped folded so lots of creases to get out
Good material but it's all creased up because it was shipped all folded up. I had to lay on floor and put a sheet of plywood and some weights on it to flatten out. Still had creases in it that just did my best to smooth out by hand. I know I'm being picky but I like my work to look new and professional.

So easy to replace old, crappy hood insulation!!
I've had crappy, torn fiberglass insulation for 2 years. WHY didn't I think of this sooner?! So clean and just as effective.

Great value option over OEM replacements
The local squirrels decided my $164 OEM hood insulation made great bedding material. I replaced with the OEM product one time and moved the car to more protected location. Again the squirrels visited. This product was used for my second replacement. It is slightly thicker than the OEM product and MUCH easier to install. The sound and heat protection seem comparable. We will see how well it holds up over the next few weeks. So far the squirrels are ignoring it.

Excellent
This is a great stuff it stops the heat and dropped the sound massively. It has excellent adhesive on the back, so it will stick where it touches. I lined the floor and dog house in the rv.
