I actually really like this mouse! I bought it so I could connect my wireless mouse to my desktop. This was the most affordable mouse and it works great. I use it instead of my expensive wireless mouse.

I needed a new mouse for my desktop computer and this mouse was a real bargain. All I did was plug it into the usb port and it worked immediately with no problems...The price was right, and it's not loud when you click it. I would definitely recommend this product!

It 's simple, reasonably priced, and works.

Purchased 03/23/14; In use with Samsung Series 3 Chromebox. I previously used a Samsung 5-button wireless mouse. It has a lot of features, but I didn't even use any of them except for the very basic features. Batteries lasted about 3 months, which is okay I think, because of the constant use. The only problem I've had w/it is that is sort of pauses and then jumps to the top left corner of the screen occasionally, like it’s having a brain fart, (maybe most wireless mice do this?). BTW, this was my first wireless mouse, so I can’t compare it to others. It’s wasn't really a big issue for me and it didn't happened that often, I just dealt with it. With all of the heavy use, it was starting to show its age though, the scroll wheel is starting to get kind of funky, kind of jerky page movement - I just used the scroll bar from the PC page. Although I was pretty happy with it, all things considered, it might be time to seriously think about getting a new mouse soon... Well, the bad scroll wheel on the Samsung mouse was starting get worse and bug me, so I decided it was time to buy a new mouse. My first choice was the Logitech M100, and just as I was getting ready to place my order, this unit caught my eye, read the great reviews, (and I liked the AmazonBasics HDMI cable that I previously purchased), so I went for it! Here is a copy of an E-mail that I sent to a close friend shortly after I received this device: “I only have had it a (very) short time, (< 1 hr) LOL, but I can tell you that it's a MAJOR improvement already! I ended up getting an AmazonBasics 3-Button Mouse, for $6.99, (free w/my Amazon points). Ordered yesterday, (Sun aft), arrived today, (Mon) - love Amazon Prime! Even though it's a smaller mouse, (I named it "Minnie"), it fits my hand just fine, gets excellent ratings, is light weight, works on any surface and is optical. My Samsung 5-button wireless - I NEVER used the other buttons, so what's the point, (and expense) of getting that one again? It was an excellent mouse while it lasted. Wireless IMO, from what I've read, are somewhat buggy and might be over rated. l think you, (and your HP), would like it and it could/should solve some of your screen scrolling issues. Definitely worth giving it a shot…” UPDATE: Guess what? I've owned it a month now and It’s still how I feel about it today! It’s a rock solid unit at a great price! Ich nutze die Amazon Basics optische Maus am PC/Laptop und bin echt zufrieden. Einstecken (USB) und sie läuft sofort – kein Treiber, kein Stress. Sie liegt angenehm in der Hand, klickt sauber und der Cursor bewegt sich präzise, auch auf normalem Mauspad. Ist natürlich kein High-End-Gaming-Teil, aber für Büro, Homeoffice und Alltag absolut perfekt. Für den Preis klare 5 Sterne.
