Although these are healthier than other brands, the taste and texture was a big letdown.

They taste like a granola bar that has 10+ grams of sugar ...
These are yummy and chewy, came quickly and even though it's hot the product transferred well (although the bars shifted slightly with the heat.. however, if you have a chance, eat one warm! Yum!).Box got finished last night and I went ahead and ordered a case of them as well as the pb choc chip too. We also ordered a box of the cookies from their website to try. I'm constantly trying to find things that can be tossed in the backpacks or into my purse for running errands. They taste like a granola bar that has 10+ grams of sugar but the 1.1oz bars only have 5!Ordering the case of 1.1oz bars, you get 8 boxes, each with 6 1.1oz individually wrapped bars. 48 bars for $30ish bucks. That's around .64 cents per bar. You might get better than that for Quaker but you'll also get a laundry list of ingredients including several types of sugar and sugar alcohol (huh?). So if that's what you like go for it. I'll stick with real items for the quick snack options. I'll be looking forward to more of this brand being available on Amazon.

There are many, many better options out there
I was not impressed with these in the least and think there are a lot better options, that taste better and similar or lesser price. They aren't in-editable, but really I found them to be sub par. No many granola bars are overly dry, but these are the opposite, so soft as to be falling apart when you open them. And while taste is a very personal thing, I did not like either the taste or the consistence of these. If you were to throw them into a back for a hike, you'd have a mess of a bar that would be all but uneatable in bar form. Now I imagine some folks may like it, so I gave it an average rating. It is definitely not for me and I'll be trying to give away the rest of the ones I have in the box. Very unimpressed.

No no no. These are junk.
This is junk!!! The breakdown of the ingredients list basically states these are made out of sugar and oil. Whole grain BLEND- Second ingredient in the blend is sugar. The second main ingredient is brown rice syrup, which is basically sugar. Then creamy peanut butter. Then rice crispy! The second ingredient in rice crisp is sugar. I bought these in a pinch in a rush to the grocery store and until I ate one that I actually read the entire ingredient list. I trusted the name and the name is not acurate. Just because you don’t add hifructose corn syrup to something Doesn’t mean it’s not junk.... I love how the other people who listed the ingredients only listed the ones typed in bold am not what they are actually made up! Run, one away from these. To Manny actually healthy options for the same price

Simple Ingredients, Good Snack
Simply Eight JUNKLESS bars have only a few ingredients and lack junk - there are no GMO, trans-fats, or corn syrup. The ingredient list is short and recognizable: whole oats, rice crisps, dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, non-GMO canola oil, evaporated cane sugar, brown rice syrup, sea salt and peanuts.I was curious about brown rice syrup, knowing that some of the natural syrups (agave for example) really aren't very good for you. Brown rice syrup is added sugar, but it's not so bad because hits the blood stream marginally slower than other sugars. Evaporated cane sugar is still sugar - slightly less processed so there are trace amounts of a few B vitamins in it. And there are chocolate chips - really good ones - but that's more sugar. Still, these bars are heads and tails above the usual chemical-laden granola bars you pick up in the grocery store.I like the texture - neither too chewy nor too soft. I sure would love more chocolate chips, though - they are quality chocolate and are the most flavorful things in the bars. To me - I'm not a health food fanatic - the bars are a bit bland otherwise. I'd like a little more saltiness in the peanut butter flavor. Admittedly, I prefer Jif or Skippy to healthier peanut butters. These junkless bars taste very healthy. One bar will fill me up for several hours, which is great, and they're good for me. I would absolutely buy these for healthy snacks for kids and while my husband and I would both love a little more flavor, we do like them. While we're not the best at avoiding junk food all the time, it makes us both happy to eat snacks that don't have a lot of additives and chemicals in them.
