This massive 48 oz bag offers an economical supply of raw, unroasted almonds that stay fresh for months when tucked away in the freezer. However, the sizing quality control is all over the place, packing in a frustrating mix of massive oversized kernels alongside tiny shriveled bits, plus an unusually high ratio of bitter-tasting rogue nuts that ruin handfuls at a time.

The size is great and it is raw ( not roasted) salt-free/junk-free pure California almonds. The quality though was not satisfactory for what I received perhaps because I received a bag which is TOO CLOSE to EXPIRATION date & hence is NOT FRESH. I had some low quality almonds (dry/bitter/dusty) inside the bag (it made me to look for the printed expiry date on the bag) ....... OVERALL, I recommend it! Just check the expiry date before opening the bag ......

Almods are fresh, so far not chewy like the usual ones at the store. This amazon brand almonds are crunchy yet soft, they dont look like theyre anywhere close to expiration, the almonds are white and they do taste good. Blender shake makes it better. For the price is a deal, i reccomend and ill consider buying again. No funny smells just almonds

I have these for a snack with hummus. These almonds are fresh and taste very good. I am getting ready to order again this week.

They're just ordinary average almonds, nothing wrong with them, nothing special either. Just make sure you wash them before adding to your baked goods, mold spores like to hitch a ride on almonds. You'll be fine if you eat them straight-up, but baked goods won't last long before mold grows.
