The key to using this is that you DO NEED TO SEW ON even though they advertise, no sew. The clamps that you push don't have enough hold to hold the weft, so to be secure, you need to stitch it. I noticed others mentioned on this type of clip that they don't stay or click to stay closed. The key to this is to not have hair entangled in the comb part. It will keep popping open if there is hair tangled in the part that you're supposed to secure to your hair. It may work better with straight hair but curly hair, I found it that I always had to move the curls that got tangled in the comb part. It works for what I need & I'd buy more only because I know how to attach them.

The PNK Trend Self Snap On Wig No Sewing Needed Clips set of 6 I'm a fan of. These came packaged well and received no damage during shipping. They emitted no weird odors or strange chemical smells. All clips were intact and correct in number. They are average in size, and I checked, and they mimic the already in place clips on most of my wigs. These are unique as you do not have to sew these into place unless you want to. To use you simply slide/hook them to were you want on your inner wig cap, and you are good to go. If you want extra security, you can sew them on as well. I like the option that I can remove these easily and use them with other wigs too. The hold is good. I have not had wigs come out of place when using the clips. As long as you place the clips strategically, you should have an excellent hold where you wig won't slip or slide off staying firmly on your head only. Recommended.

These self snap clips are exactly what I needed. You have the option to either hooking it on or sow it in, I did both. I had this wig made for me 5 years ago and always had to pin it to my hair because it wasn't made with clips. I ended up cutting the sides and back of my hair short so now the wig doesn't feel as secure. Thankfully I found these clips! I sowed two in the front, hooked one on the side and back and it gave me exactly what I needed! It provides great hold and keeps my wig from sliding. The hook was easy to install but needed to use a needle to help slide the netting over the hooks because the hooks are placed very close to the base of the clip which is good that way the clips won't easily slide off. I'll update after I wear it to this wedding in a couple days on how well it survived dancing and sweating. I'm sure it'll hold well based on how the strong the hold was after installing the clips. Update: these clips hold very well but be sure to place them in a good location. Mine were placed in the front near my edges and the metal leaves a sore spot after a few hours.

I wanted to add another clip to my extensions and these were just right for them.

I was hoping these PNK Trend Self Wig Clips would work to secure my U-Part wig but unfortunately they didn’t work as expected. I followed the instructions and attempted numerous times to place these clips onto the wefted area of the wig near the closure but they just didn’t provide a secure enough hold. It’s ok for a quick temporary fix for your clip-in extensions if one of your clips detaches, breaks or becomes damaged. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable using these unless I sew these clips in to ensure a firm, secure hold. Great concept though but it just didn’t deliver performance wise.

Pretty much a waste of money for me. They did not work. They just were not functional for what I needed them for sadly. Fast shipping though and easy purchase. I didn't return but was disappointed. Maybe they could work for very small pieces.
