Great Lights, Love the option to be handheld, Great remote capabilities
I was looking for a light to compete with the Godox LC500R and I think from a baseline of performance per dollar, this works for my needs. I'll break down the review in 2 separate ways. 1st: street photography. 2nd: studio photography. One of the greatest aspects of these lights is that I can use them for both street and studio photography depending on my exact needs - which adds some great benefits to the overall package.1st - Street PhotographyIf you're looking to add some rim lighting to a persons face and hair highlights, then you can use the sticks to generate natural white light but keep in mind that these are limited to only 5600k where as some of the others can go much higher into the blues category of lighting. If you're looking for rich amber yellows and oranges, this does that as well. If you're looking to add some additional cool coloring to your shoot, then this can do it as well. I can lay them on the ground and shoot them towards walls and turn them different colors depending on my needs. With the remote control I can keep the flow of the session without having to change attributes of the lights directly and interupt the flow of the session. I love that the batteries are removable - though not included. I can replace them as needed versus running out of juice halfway through a shoot.2nd - Studio Photography1st things first, keep in mind that they're only 21Watts in contrary to others at 23 and 25w each. So you may need more light depending on your mood and your studio setting. Similar to street photography, I love having the remote to change colors as needed and create "scenes" between other lights I have in my inventory. You can create some awesome lighting effects in tight areas with very controlled lighting in vertical and horizontal manners. Keep in mind that these are stick lighting and don't have a manner in which to attach softboxes, so control is limited, but the lighting disperses incredibly well and even.Pros:Great flexibility and control. Love the universal batteries that are continually used in the Neewer product line. I buy one battery and they work in multiple lights. Lightweight, easy to control. Tilting capabilities on the wand handle great for directional help on the included stands. Nice that they include the AC adapters for studio use as well.Cons:One of the only things I wish they had was the ability to be controlled by the Neewer Application on my phone so that I can work with these any my other RGB lights all from one location -- but at least the remote does the job without me needing to get out my phone when I'm only working with these.Color: Color is vivid and extremely well saturated – much more vivid than using color gels in my opinion.

Meh
This product looks so cheap made and the light doesn't fit properly in the stand. The bag is so low quality material that when I tried opening the zipper it got stuck, I thought I was going to break the zipper if I tried opening it. I carefully managed it to open it; it took me some minutes to get the stuff out of the bag. I wish the light could have the flexibility to rotate horizontally to control the spill. I returned it right after I took it out of the box. Amazon is not longer providing full refunds anymore. It's hard to tell what the product looks like when there are all these photoshopped images on the item description.

Great, versatile lighting setup, but not the best value at nearly $200
I've added several Neewer products to my photography equipment over the years, but this lighting set is by far the most expensive. In general, my experience with Neewer products is that, while they're not the highest quality, they work well enough for whatever it is they're designed to do. I'd summarize my experience with these lights in the same way: the quality is just "alright," and it's obvious that you're getting a cheaper product that a more professional-grade set of lights, but they work well enough, depending on what you plan to use them for. At the time of this writing, this set is listed at just under $200. At that price point, I would expect slightly higher quality for what you get, but everything has worked well, and you do get a competent, well-featured lighting set.THE GOOD:- You get just about everything you need for basic lighting in this set: two tripods, two AC power adapters for each light, two lights, a remote to control each light, and a bag that neatly fits everything into it. I'll talk more about the quality of everything below, but this set includes everything you need to get started.- The lights themselves are quite bright, despite their small size. I was able to light my office very well with these two lights for video conferencing, and my office is relatively large - about 150 sq. ft. Each light has a nice display and controls on the back, making dialing in settings easy. I actually preferred using the controls on the lights rather than the remote. The colors are vivid and allow for limitless lighting setups. Though limited, the lights themselves can be re-positioned via a 1-axis joint. A ball joint with 3-axis adjustments would've been nice.- The remote works as expected, though, as above, I found the controls on the lights themselves easier to use than the remote. I didn't have any difficulty connecting to each light with the remote (in short, you set each light to a specific channel, set the remote to the corresponding channel, and make setting changes). The remote has a nice, bright LCD display that mimics the information displayed on the lights themselves. The remote adds additional versatility in case you can't easily reach the controls on the lights once setup.- The included bag is surprisingly nice. Neewer branding is very visible on the sides of the bag, in case you care about that kind of thing. I do wish the sides had some kind of hard plastic for reinforcement - despite what the pictures look like, the bag is essentially made of soft canvas - but it works well enough. The bag is large enough to fit all of the included items and keep everything organized. Some velcro straps keep everything reasonably in place.THE BAD:- The quality of the materials is clearly subpar. The bodies of the lights feel like a pretty cheap plastic that won't survive any significant hits - for example, if the tripod topples over with the light attached. As other reviewers mentioned, I couldn't for the life of me get the lights to securely mount to the tripod. It seems like there's an adapter or something missing in the set that I received. The base of the light handle seems like it's supposed to have standard 1/4" threading to allow for mounting on these or any tripods, but no such threading exists. Out-of-the-box, I couldn't securely mount the lights to the included tripods - at least not in a way that approaches secure. The tripods themselves are functional but pretty cheap - a mix of what feels like aluminum poles with plastic hardware. If you plan to use these outdoors, you will DEFINITELY want some ballast - e.g., sandbags - to attach to the bottom of the tripod to keep everything in place.- While this is mentioned in the item description, these lights DO NOT include batteries. You will have to buy them separately (Neewer has a 2-pack with charger for $50 on Amazon), which is a bit of a bummer. Without these batteries, you're stuck to using power outlets to charge everything - there's no included battery in the lighting units.- The power adapters are pretty cheap and the cords too short. Buying batteries - or an alternative adapter with a much longer cord - will basically be a must. Neewer lists the length of these cables as 10', which sounds like a lot, but considering you'll have to run the cords up a tripod, this just isn't enough length. Cords that are at least as twice as long would've been nice - otherwise you're going to be limited to how you will be able to arrange things without batteries or extension cords.I've got mixed feelings about this set. On the one hand, it's quite functional, and the lighting quality and versatility this setup offers is excellent. For certain uses cases - for example, lighting an indoor space that doesn't require much improvement - this set would work well. This could be a portable setup, but you'll definitely need to buy some additional equipment - batteries and something to stabilize the tripods, to start - to really maximize the utility of the set. At nearly $200, I think the price is a bit steep for what you get. Overall, I think I would recommend it, but just know what you're getting. You might be a bit disappointed at this price point.

Top end of tripod and stick do not fit well.
The top end of the tripod and the connecting end of the light stick are not fittingly well. There must be a missing part or adaptor to fit them snugly. The top diameter of the stand is smaller than the inside diameter of the handle which is slightly bigger. So when you attach them together and tighten up the knob, both the stand and the stick are not in straight vertical alignment with each other. It's a wrong fit. A part must be missing.

So much functionality
The media could not be loaded. These RGB stick light are amazing! I’ve used them on shoots where I needed some nice accent lights in the background. Since these two were connected to the remote, it was easy to adjust color and the brightness from behind the camera not having to go to the light itself. So the remote came in handy. I’ve played with some of the lighting effects. There are some good ones, I’ve only used two audio fx, it was the police pattern and the poporatze flash camera fx. They are made of plastic, but still feels well built. They come in a great carrying bag, and each light came with its own light stand. This really is a complete set for anyone looking for some creative light kit.

Recomendado.

Lights work good
The lights work great...I hate companies that can't afford to throw in 20 cents of aaa batteries. Annoys the crap out of me when there is no battery in the remote.
