Elemental's Curse: A Witch Detective Urban Fantasy (Alice Skye series Book 4)

This series is addictive. It is well written with engaging characters and compelling plot lines.The MC is flawed but highly relateable. Despite a tragic and mysterious background and confusing circumstances, she manages to hold true to herself and her relationships.The plot line is compelling. The story told with dark humor. I highly recommend this to lovers of urban paranormal fiction.

I’ve read all four books in this series and enjoyed them all. I am a huge fan of the Paranormal genre and would rate this author right up there with my favorites. I like that the heroine is strong with a quirky sense of humor but compassionate too. I like the other characters too. They all bring something alive to the story. Lol....I am no writer but I love reading and I highly recommend this series to those who love the Paranormal!

This series is becoming one of favorites. The characters are great. The story is amazing. Every time I read each book in one day because I can’t put down. Can’t wait for next one.

I really enjoy the variety this series has offered compared to my usual fantasy reading. I'm so glad I found it.

I’ve read all the books in the series twice- was lucky enough to get an advanced readers copy of book 4. I love the creativeness of the characters - they are complex but not unrealistic in their human feelings and actions. The plots are thick and unpredictable. The way the plots and characters progress keep you enthralled. Compared to the others, this book seemed a little disjointed when I first read it - but as I read back thru it I can see where new plot lines are being developed. I just wish it had been 1000 pages long- 8 hated to have it end.I am in the US but I really enjoy reading Books written in British English. Lots of new expressions and words.My rating of 5 stars means I will read it again. 4 stars means it was a good read. So in this case I will definitely read them all again in time for book 5.

I love this series and this book is a great read. I love the mix of the normal with the world of magic. Alice is an amazing yet flawed character that is so much fun to read. Her life is a crazy mess but her heart is in the right spot. I loved the action and plots and the unexpected. I loved watching Alice do her thing. And all the other characters are great to read as they interact with Alice. I laughed through most of it but was entertained as expected from this series. The story was a great addition to the series.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Finding a new series I am excited about doesn’t happen very often....especially on KU lately. So many YA or worse, adult themed books that “sound” like a teenager is writing it. The characters, and storylines in this series are engaging. The world building wasn’t as great as some other series...but part of that could be my unfamiliarity with London. I would definitely recommend this series...and have to say, I am really excited for the next chapter in Alice Skye’s story!

I can’t wait for the next book. Alice Skye is a strong woman who doesn’t want to be protected by a man. She is alone with no family after her parents are murdered when she was a child. She had a big brother whom she also lost but now she thinks he survived and she has to find him. She is a Paladin and her job is to her track under contract. Will she find him only to find he really is lost to her? She seems to have the worst luck going from one life changing circumstance to another. There is lots of action, magic, and mysteries to solve. It is worth your time to sit back with the book and enjoy the ride.

Lots going on in the book and counting love Alice and Sam, so brings Alice out and always takes care of her. Shame about Overlord. So much going on and nice to learn more about the characters. So sad the book has ended, but so looking forward to the next one.

I have been enjoying this series amongst others. Nice easy read, a predictable love story with a few differences. Look forward to the next one

These books are very gripping I am awaiting the next book with great expectation hopefully it’ll be as intriguing as this last one was
