This note book is good for taking with you everywhere and the paper is great for all types of pens and pencils. The outside cover of the notebook feels very good in quality, definitely worth it.

I am surprised at how much I like this journal. I got the red one first and it is a deep red and a loively color. It is faux leather with cream colored lined pages. The pages are not numbered and there is not an index which is fine by me. There is a pocket in the back and a band to hold the journal closed.Also on the top of each page is a place for the date and day of the week. I like that feature as it is my daily journal for" to do "list and whatever happens that day. I got this for ten dollars and just got the orange one on a lightning deal for under 8 dollars. Now the red one has the name on the front bottom but it is the same color as the journal. I must say the red is a classy looking journal and I am quite taken with it. The orange one doesn't have the name on it and it is nice but the red one is the best. This is a very nice red. Now I will try the blue one. Oh also the pages are rather thick, however I have only used my muji gel pen. I do not think they offer a dotted version yet.Update- I just wanted to say that after using this for a week, I still really like it but the paper is a little smoother than I usually prefer. It's like slick, not toothy. However, I have switched my pen to accommodate this but for this reason I have gone to 4 stars. It is still a classy notebook though.

I wanted something simple and undated but also gives me the option to put in my own dates and this works.

I can't speak for other types of fountain pens, but I've been using this notebook with a Lamy Safari with a medium nib, and have encountered zero bleeding and only the SLIGHTEST feathering when I'm pressing down harder than I should. A great pair for my new fountain pen, and it's a great price too!

The overall impression of this notebook is solid quality, not cheap or flimsy. The pages are thicker than most similar notebooks and of a higher quality that should hold up well to ink bleed. Built-in pen holder is big enough to hold a small pen while the elastic band that wraps around the notebook keeps hand-written notes protected. In addition, there’s a folder glued inside the back cover that can store additional note cards, business cards or stamps. I like the warm brown color and the soft feel of the cover. Quality of the binding is impressive. Great size for daily note taking or journalling. Would work great for a project manager.

got a black journal and decorated the cover. i like how flat the book becomes if you were to open it in the middle which is useful when writing. top of the pages have the days of the week and a line where you can put the date. there is a pocket envelope thing at the back of the book where you can store more notes/paper.

Nothing bad to say works perfect and looks so professional at my job (I’m a nurse) very happy if you guys have refillable lined paper I would totally buy to refill my book

Usually I rate these journals a 5 star, but today this red journal only get a 4 star. Although the pages are a nice weight, and the book lies flat while writing, the colour of the red isn't the same as the previous books I purchased. The newer version is more of a burgundy red, while the older version is more of a deep cherry, which I prefer. If the colour matching doesn't really bother you, then this is a definite 5 star

I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of the cover. It's incredibly soft! It's also pretty easy to rip out pages of the notebook that you don't want anymore without damaging the other ones. I did notice that my notebook did not have the same line format. The first half are lines, while the other half is dotted. Also, I wish the basic colours were all the same price, but this price-colour game is nothing new.

For my needs, this notebook is the perfect size and weight -great for quick notes and reminders, easy to travel with, easy to use, decent looking
