SAMSUNG ME16K3000AS Over-The-Range Microwave, 1.6 Cubic Ft, Stainless Steel

Had to ship the first one back due to it being damages (one corner like it had been drop, small rust spots inside the door, and discolored paint around rust spots) despite no damage to packaging. Returing it was a hassle but customer service was great so we decided to order same microwave. The turn table on the new microwave makes noise and has never worked correctly. It turns but will pop out of place at least twice in 1min. while heating up food. Lacking in overall quality especially for the price. We are still using it bc it does heat up food and can't afford to purchase a new one at this time.

As advertised. It fit the space and it works as a micro should. I've never installed an over-the-range micro before, but it was not difficult. It replaced my 25 yr old Quazar (last one that was still in use. Yes, I'm bragging on Quazar).

Major dislike. On second use unit had a melt down pouring black toxic smoke throughout our home. Which after 4 days we still cannot go into our kitchen because of the smell.

Samsung sucks when you don not live in a major metropolitan area and need service on appliances. Product arrived fine and after installation, the microwave ran consistently when plugged in. Spent two hours on chat with Samsung, because the instructions to register the product were bleak. The customer service representative was very helpful and was able to register my product so I could schedule service. However, I had to use the representative again to help schedule the service call, because the Samsung website stated "No Service Available in your area." I had my hopes up, but those hopes were shot down this morning when another representative called and informed me that Samsung could not find a service technician in my area to service the microwave. I live in Florida's capital city, so whatever! The worst part of the phone call was being offered less than what I paid Amazon for the microwave, and the ridiculous steps I had to perform to receive the refund. After speaking with Amazon, I decided to box up the microwave and return it to Amazon for a FULL refund. Now, I'm on the hunt for another microwave that will match our Samsung range. Not going to buy another Samsung microwave. Our last matching microwave from Samsung lasted less than 3 years. Regarding Samsung products, my give a damn is busted!

One thing that I really dislike about other microwaves is that the bell or buzzer announcing that it's finished is loud and very annoying ringing 4 or more times leaving me talking to this inanimate object - I know, I know, give me a second!This one is not like that. No more talking to myself. Life is good.

Gave it 4 stars because it does not have the night that can be set up automatically.

Out of all my purchases on Amazon this has been the worst. Not only is this product trash before I figured it out I spent another 150.00 to have it installed. I'm still using becaus I cant afford to replace and reinstall. I use this more for heating water, coffee, tea.... it takes so long to heat anything up. Dont purchase or you will regret it. Horrible product I'm stuck with. I will replace some day. It looks nice. That's not enough. I would like a refund or a credit towards a new microwave. A credit tords a new one is the only way they can redeem themselves

Our previous Kenmore microwave that looked just like this one died after couple years. We are not heavy microwave user so we didn’t need a fancy one. This was my first time ordering appliances from Amazon. This was too good of a price compared with local HomeD or Lowe’s. Also this Samsung matches our recently replaced refrigerator too.Installation was little painful since the previous mount didn’t work with this. So had few new drill holes.As the functions , it’s pretty basic, but noticed it was quieter than our previous one. It did act up after 2 weeks and started running by itself?! We just reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back. So far so good. Overall, it does its basic purpose of a microwave.

The door handle already broke off and we haven't even had it that long. The screw is too short and the plastic is not strong enough.
