515 Ground Shoot .177 Steel BB's

The Daisy Precision ground 4.5mm BB’s are great. I just wrote a review of the Hornady Black Diamonds and mentioned how both these BB’s are the best on the market right now. The Daisy Precision Ground BB’s offer excellent performance, uniformity, and are priced very well for the quality you are receiving. They shoot great in everything from my Red Ryder,Buck, 1999, model 25, and 880. They work and they work well in everything I have shot them through. If you are in the market for some quality BB’s then these are the ones for you. Pick up a bottle or two of the Hornady Black Diamonds as well and you will have the two best 4.5mm BB’s on the market. These Daisy BB’s are everything I wanted them to be and more, not to mention priced very fairly for what you are getting. Hope this could help someone who is trying to make a decision on which 4.5mm BB’s to buy. You can’t go wrong with these Daisy Precision Ground BB’s.UPDATE: Just a quick update. After shooting these a bit more I have to say these are hands down my favorite BB’s. I have noticed a huge increase in accuracy out of any smooth bore BB gun with these. I really liked the Hornady Black Diamonds, but these Daisy Precision Ground BB’s are giving me much better accuracy then any other BB I have been trying. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and performance of these BB’s.

Daisy packages the Match Grade BB's in the familiar stout sized, durable plastic container, that is also shrink wrapped at the factory. This prevents spillage and ensures the BB's are protected, no matter how poorly they are shipped of treated during shipping.These BB's are very consistent and measure 4.42mm, which many consider a "magnum" size BB, similar to the Marksman Premiums (not the Laser Hawks). So these may jam your gun if you do not check their fit to your guns bore. I am using these in a 1938ARR and in an Umarex Brodax and work great with no jams.When you compare these to the Copper Head, which are mostly 4.36mm, but can be as small as 4.34mm but usually hover between 4.35mm and 4.36mm, these are far superior. When BB's vary so widely in size and weight it is luck when you hit the bullseye.When compared to the Umarex Black Diamonds that run 4.37mm consistently, they are slightly more accurate, with slightly more velocity, because they seal tighter to the bore, but could jam your gun if you do not check first.When compared to Daisy Premium Max that run 4.38mm these are slightly higher velocity and slightly more accurate, but you will need good sights on your gun to see the difference.The price on these varies widely, so sometimes they are a good value and sometimes they are not.
