Can't say enough
I bought this because I had to purchase an induction stove while my kitchen was being remodeled and owned nothing that would work with induction heat. Well...not so crazy about the induction stove. BUT-this pot!! I had no idea that stainless steel could be so versatile and easy to maintain. What I use it for-I make my morning chai on the stovetop everyday, with loose Indian and Sri Lankan tea leaves and spices. This results in some residue of spices and tea in the pot.Positive features-solid-heavy bottom-heats evenly-dishwasher safe-well fitted cover that doesn't slide or let out heat-spouts for pouring are the best I have ever used-handle is steady and solid and heat proof-easy to clean with two sided dish sponge. Not so great features--haven't found one in 2 months of (almost) daily use.Highly recommend.

Good value
My 3 quart sauce pan is used almost everyday ... and so many times, I wished I had a second one. This one is is perfect, and the pour spout is extra handy.

Nice pan but lid handle gets hot.
Nice design. Good to have a vent in the lid. This pan does take a while to boil, but then seems to retain the heat well. The only problem is that the handle on the lid tends to get hot.

Returning due to handle design
I like everything about this pot EXCEPT for the handle. The HANDLE design is REALLY TERRIBLE -so much sothat I am returning the pot although in all other regards it is exactly what I want. I was looking for a sauce pan that will work with any stovetop incl induction. I was looking for a more shallow pot of a particular diameter & height so that I can fit my egg poaching rack in it and it won’t be sitting too deep. This pot meets ALL those criteria. BUT the handle is shaped so wide and flared toward the end that— the only way to get a good grip is to hold it all the way up right next to the pot. There are two of us in this household. We both have strong hands. One of us has extra large hands and the other small hands. Neither one of us can get any kind of comfortable grip on the end of the handle where you would need to hold on to move the pot and pour something without getting too close to the heat. I realize that I would avoid reaching for this pot for that reason and so no point in keeping. So really truly UNFORTUNATELY, I am sending it back. Hope they redesign the handle so that one can get a good grip on it out where hands need to be when using a hot saucepan.

WILL NOT WORK ON INDUCTION COOKTOP!
EVEN THOUGH THIS IS STAINLESS STEEL, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING ALUMINUM IN IT AS WELL BECAUSE IT WILL NOT WORK ON INDUCTION TYPE COOKTOPS!
